Dentist:

Absolutely fabulous fast and efficient service had today at the Alexandra emergency dentist. The two ladies we're phenomenal from the start. The care, attention, and explaining throughout was excellent. I was a very nervous lady walking in after a previous awful dental experience elsewhere. The ladies I had today did a root canal and ensured I couldn't feel a thing. You have restored my faith in dentists. Thank you! Highly recommend. The best dental service I've ever had, and at very short notice too.

Parents came to get bloods done for a chemo appointment in Wrexham on Thursday and they said that they would have to go to Glan Clwyn because there is 'no way' they could get the bloods to them by Thursday (Tuesday to Thursday = 3 days). So they drove to Glan Clwyd and over there they said that they could have easily done it. So....?

Very crowded at time of appointment. Several different clinics taking place, which caused a bit of an atmosphere with patients thinking other people were jumping their queue! Numerous comments made unjustly at times by disgruntled waiting patients not understanding other clinics in operation.

My 6 year old grand daughter needed an urgent appointment with the dentist, we were given an appointment very quickly ☆ The staff at this hospital were amazing ☆☆☆☆☆
Dental nurse Sarah & Dental practitioner Rosie deserve credit and recognition for their efforts. They made her very comfortable and confident to attend appointments solely due to their patients and explaining everything to detail before going ahead with any procedure. The drill was a tooth tickler and the numbness for the tooth was "giving the tooth a cold shower " 🙂 my grand daughter found this funny and is more then confident to return in future because of this.
I'd like to say thank you for an amazing service ☆
If only all Dentists were like this then the fear of the dentist wouldn't exist 100%
Thank you Royal Alexandra also big thank you Rosie & Sarah 🙂

Waiting over a week for an emergency referral email to my spine surgeon, I cannot walk and in excruciating pain. The secretary made it like she was doing me a favour! Still no referral emailed. Shame I don't have a different accent, it would've been done ASAP.

Terrible service, took a lady I support with dementia and learning disabilities, who has poor mobility and uses a wheelchair for a blood test. The appointment was at 12.15pm we arrived at 12.27pm. I parked in the main car park and went in the hospital to be told it was in the outpatients. It was pooring down with rain and we were both soaked due to having to walk to the other side of the hospital to be told bluntly we have to rebook. After me explaining our circumstances for being late there was no compassion or help whatsoever and I was told there are signs everywhere to which I checked when I got outside and there was none saying bloods department. Absolutely discusted with the help we received. Shame on you.

Just finished my physio treatment via the ankle clinic after many months. For such a dated building the staff I have encountered have always been polite and pleasant. The support and patience has been outstanding as also the ease and casual professionalism they applied to myself and others I witnessed throughout the arduous process of recovery. I hope someone from within the NHS reads this review because for me it highlights the abilities and strength staff can bring to what appears to be a underfunded organisation. Thank you for helping my recovery.
