Kristin Steed, the nurse practitioner, is amazing. I have seen her multiple times both for myself and my children and she is patient, kind, compassionate, and LISTENS. Never once has she made me feel like a crazy mom for bringing my kids in when they’ve been sick as can be at home, but act fine the moment we walk into a doctors office. I cannot recommend her enough. Kristin has such a calming aura that instantly makes you know she will take good care of you. Thank you, Kristin!! You don’t normally get that kind of care at an urgent care and I am very grateful for you!

Kids have had symptoms for several days. Decided to make online appointments for them. Front office staff was courteous. MA got vitals fast and the kids checked in right away. Our provider was totally receptive and did a thorough assessment on both of them. Got them swabbed and returned a positive test result within a couple minutes. She sent over the necessary scripts to our pharmacy and got us out of there with no troubles.
Really a pleasant overall experience and nothing but positive things to say.

I'd recommend Avecina Middleburg to anybody in need of prompt and thoughtful medical attention.

I arrived and was seen within 10 minutes. Nurses were great, Dr was awesome. Took their time and went over everything thoroughly. Wonderful place and their hours were great too.

The staff was all professional and great. I was the only one in the waiting room so I got right in and out.
The ONLY negative is the stupid QR code you have to scan and sign in using your phone. Trying to take decent pics of insurance and I'd cards, nonsense. It would be so much easier if the ladies at the front desk just signed you in.

Absolutely wonderful. Check-in was seamless and I was seen promptly. All staff was courteous and professional. The doctor that I saw was just great She assessed me quickly and ordered meds. I was out quickly. The place is spotless and the location is great. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for urgent care.

This was my first visit and I love loved it best service and the staff was well knowledge and very professional and polite. The doctor was awesome. Take care of my medical needs and sent me home feeling much better than I came in. I will visit this place again and the near future if needed.

Went in for ear pain; clogged ear; constant pulsating sound. She looked in my ear and said she didn’t see anything but was going to treat it as an ear infection. Never felt around my ear (lymph nodes), didn’t listen to my chest, look in my throat or take my blood pressure. I asked about wax in my ear and she said there was a little but never offered to remove it or flush it out to possibly unclog it. I am a cancer patient currently undergoing treatment which I made her aware which means any infection is a lot more serious. She was in the room less than 5 minutes and there wasn’t even anyone in the waiting room after me. They weren’t busy at all.

I have since seen my oncologist who had also looked at my ears and the one that I was being seen for was completely blocked with wax and she couldn’t even see in the ear and the other ear is red and has fluid in it. So for the Dr at Avecina to say there was just a little wax in one and nothing about the other but we are going to “go ahead” and treat you for an ear infection when she should of unblocked the ear. What about unblocking my ear so I can hear? Truly unacceptable treatment!!
