Finally found a good family friendly dentist where everyone treats you so good. Dr Emily is very sweet and down to earth. The dental hygienist my children have each time is wonderful. My son gets very scared and nervous. He would never let anyone clean his teeth until we started going here.

After contacting them, I got a text message with greetings and that they said "How can we help you?" And I texted back "I need to make an appointment " ... then immediately I got a call from them!!! Obviously they knew the purpose was "to make appointment ". The moment I started speaking to the lady, she said they don't make appointments for new patients!!! Well, I come from another country and have accent. That's the reason they didn't want to make appointment, otherwise they already knew the purpose of the call because they had my text message. And they already knew that I was a new patient because my phone number wasn't on their system.

I take all of my children here and when I can’t imagine taking them to anywhere else! She is patient, takes time to explain exactly what she’ll be doing, works so well with her assistants and has never not welcomed me into the room with them! She just recently did 3 fillings on my almost 5 year old and he was a CHAMP because she’s so easy to work with. I highly, highly recommend taking your children here if you’re looking for somewhere! We will never go anywhere else!

I am and have been very impressed and pleased with the quality of care given to me and others in this office. The reception and appointment bookkeepers have been exceptional in helping me in rescheduling appointments due to emergencies or conflict with other appointments. The atmosphere is relaxing and is calming. The dental staff and Dr. Carter is caring and explains procedures very well to me as well as to others. The
experience while there is professional, comfortable, and excellent care is given to the patient. Thank you Carter Dentistry for providing great service.

I've had two visits so far and they've both been a wonderful experience. I feel at home already. Dr. Emily and the staff are top-notch. I've been walking around with a broken front tooth for 17 years. I've had regular visits all those years and no one ever took the time to care about fixing it. With my flexible schedule and close workplace, the ladies in scheduling fit me in quickly. Dr. Emily had my broken tooth repaired in no time. She explained everything she was going to do and she worked on the tooth until it was perfect. I'm so happy with the result! I want to thank the Carter Family Dentistry team for making me feel welcome and for being pleasant to deal with. I can't wait to take my kids next!

We received smiles from everyone from the time we walked in. The wait wasn’t long at all. Our little one (under 2) was made so comfortable as she was allowed to stay in my lap while she leaned back to have her teeth cleaned. The staff and Dr. Carter were quick, thorough, and efficient. I love the environment and staff! It’s a very nice place to get your dentistry work done. They have TVs on the ceilings to watch while they are doing their work. The laughing gas was phenomenal, highly recommend, 10/10. Shoutout to my girl Kelsey she does an amazing job!

Dr. Carter and I first met when she asked me to fill in for her as the dentist-in-charge during her maternity leave, so my perspective on her and her office is from a professional standpoint and can be summarized in a word: Excellence.

In my opinion, Dr. Carter is a consummate professional—knowledgeable, current, caring, and focused on the patient in front of her. I know this because I have listened to glowing unsolicited reviews from both her patients and her staff when she was not around.

It has been my observation for over 30 years, as well, that the dental experience and care offered to patients is heavily dependent on a solid, competent staff. Not only does Dr. Carter’s staff exhibit those traits, but they go far beyond by echoing her qualities and providing the transition and support she needs to do her job well.

Dr. Carter and her staff obviously strive for excellence with every patient every day. Folks in Northeast Alabama are fortunate to have professionals of such high caliber to serve their dental needs.
