This facility accepts and even drives mentally ill people to their facility, understand the patient has a passed in psychiatric episodes and past drug addictions to prescription drugs ( adderal, ridlin ) allow the patient to diagnose themselves and they send them home with the same pills that caused themselves to have to be put there in the first place.

Are the doctors licensed? Seeking legal help to look into this with proof they tripled this patients medication all because she asked without doing a full background on her past medical history. How does one say they can’t focus , and just get handed a bottle of pills with no background or current history check by a doctor who supposedly went to school to look at these things? Then went from 10mg 2x a day to 30 2x a day? It’s not even normal to give a person who actually does have adhd 30mg a day, let alone 60mg?

The same day they sent this patient home, she called to go back because her medicine caused her to have a schizophrenic episode where police needed to intervene.

Disgusting facility, almost as if they want to get rid of those people there for good after taking all the insurance money .

Why are they closed in the middle of the night when people are the most vulnerable? I have been calling for hours only for every number I'm given to hang up? Do you know that I hate myself right now? I'm afraid to fall asleep because, in my dreams, people mock me?
I'm not crazy
I'm just a person who wants help by a facility who claims they are open 24 hours a day but can't get anyone to answer the phone.
I'm not suicidal. I just need help and need to remain anonymous.
But there is no how to tell how I will feel in the morning. I may change my mind by then and hate myself even more.

You don't seem very caring to me if you are not available when I need help the most

The worse place anybody can go to. If ur trying to get clean this is not the place. I told them I was allergic to visteril and they gave it to me anyway and had a horrible reaction to it and they kicked me out in full blown withdrawal and wouldn't call an ambulance or doctor after a nurse gave me the meds. I really should've sued them. 3 years clean

October 8th was my date of arrival TO the 15th it was awful I was treated like I was garbage I was degraded by The staff I was Baker acted on the 10th from there because they felt intimidated by my height I spent 4 days In a mental hospital in Kissimmee I was transported there with one pair of clothes that I was wearing for 4 days I did not have any clothes to change out of I was only allowed to wear the clothes that I had on for those 4 days that didn't bring me Close to change into because they said I was a danger to self and others which is a lie They call their self a rehab for alcohol and substance abuse I didn't get any rehab For for my addiction I signed myself out on the 16th and will never go back if I ever hit rock bottom again I will drink my self to death I will never come to this place again the staff and the living situation and their behavior is disgusting PS the pictures on the website are not what they look like inside

I just wanted to give a shout out to Emily, Marvin,Jean, Ivan, Mary and Ariel, some amazing people at the Blackberry. It's been a struggle the past 7 years and Blackberry has gotten me to focus on my breathing, exercise, and coping mechanisms, and routine! You have to be willing though. The Doctors and nurses were amazing. Only thing that wasn't pleasant was my prescriptions weren't going through when I got out and I kept getting the run around after discharge, but overall I think they are awesome. Thank you to Blackberry.

I had a concerning experience at this facility. Medications were prescribed without a proper consultation with the doctor, and I was not given the opportunity to discuss my treatment plan. Additionally, the nursing staff appeared to lack sufficient knowledge, and I was pressured into taking medication despite repeatedly expressing my concerns and reluctance. After finally meeting with the doctor, he agreed that I definitely should not have been given that medication. Unfortunately, the prescribed medication resulted in serious side effects, leading to significant pain and discomfort. This experience was both frustrating and troubling.

The Blackberry Center will always be a sacred place to me. Those in charge saw a woman in her mid 30s absolutely manic, straight off the street with the wrong crowd around and never turned me away. I felt safe here. Paul is forever a Saint in my eyes he saw how severe my mental illness was becoming with each visit an he treated me with respect, kindness and most of all sincere humor. The social workers work to place you in the best possible environment. The food specialists became my comfort because they love what they do and I loved them. Thank you for being part of my healing journey. I'm finally on the right meds and you guys are a big part of that pursuit to end my madness. I apologize for my outbursts but my family an I will always be grateful for a place that helped me when nobody else would an for that i love yall always -GF

I don’t have words to express my gratitude with this facility and their staff. I took my son over here with a crisis from an addiction of pills. When I got there Mr. Mike was waiting for us to help us with the process. He was very kind and make the process of registration smooth. They treated my son with love, respect and compassion . The nurses, therapist, and doctors were amazing. They helped my son heal and to believe in himself. Moreover, to understand that the pills was killing him. I highly recommended this place.
