They were all so friendly and the gentleman that measured me for my glasses was very efficient, and gave a good opinion of what looked good on me and what did not. All around, I think they're a great place. There's a great guarantee on your glasses. Yes, I would recommend everybody to go here

I took my 13 year old for an eye exam. The eye doctor asked, any questions… Not alerting me of anything. I said, is there anything I should know? He stayed quiet. Girls selling the glasses stated my THIRTEEN YEAR OLD will not see 20/20.

I had to question that. My daughter was freaking out when we were there. So, I went back alone. They lied to me. Stated, lens crafters would have the same results. Not only did they have different results, but the screwy eye Doctor from optical outlets, misdiagnosed my daughter’s eyes. Completely different prescription. She WILL see 20/20. She will be able to see. All because her Mom didn’t listen to THESE LIARS!

This Doctor should retire. He is horrible at his job. Not just from my experience, but others as well. I spoke to a friend regarding my experience. She says, oh you went here didn’t you. What a reputation this place has!!

I can see again!! If you're in the market to find a good optical location in Hernando county, look no further! I have to say, the highlight of the entire experience was being greeted when I entered the office. Marly was beyond helpful. She got me checked in. Told me I was able to look around at glasses or sit and wait. When picking a pair after my checkup, she helped me decide between 3 pairs that I liked. When it came time to pick the glasses up, she made sure I got with someone to see me right away while she was simultaneously helping another customer. Very happy I stopped there to get my eyes checked.

I have called 3 days in a row to order contacts and was told by 3 different reps that I would get a call back to order my contacts. 3 days later I still have not received a call and have not been able to pay them money to get what i need. My contacts are expiring and I will not be able to see due to not being able to pay this company for more contacts since they just do not care to do buissness. This is not the only issue I have had with this company and cannot say anything good at all about this location. Worst place to go by far for anything eye related despite the name being optical outlets. Do not shop here and do not expect anything more than being able to talk to there call center and getting the "we will give you call back" over and over again to get nowhere. I will not be going back here at all and will seek care elsewhere. Terrible customer service and terrible buissness. I advise not waisting your time with this buissness as they have wasted much of mine to get absolutely nowhere.

Today was my first visit to Optical Outlets. Admittedly, I was unsure if I would like the service here due mainly to its location. This Winn Dixie shopping plaza is a bit run down.

I was pleasantly surprised by the good treatment, ease of getting an appointment and the selection of affordable frames and lenses. I arrived a few minutes early and the doctor was able to see me early. He was efficient and thorough - it may have been one of the faster exams I've had, yet I felt like it was a very thorough exam. I was very pleased.

With the assistance of the amazingly helpful woman in the showroom, I was able to select two pairs of glasses in a reasonably fast process. And the best part was the cost was eminently affordable.

I recommend going to the company's webpage where you can easily obtain an appointment --and-- complete all of the pre-appointment paperwork.

Bottom Line: Great service and prices.

I just needed glasses no exam. When I walked in it was busy so I thought I would have to wait. I signed in and the receptionist asked what I was there for , and immediately had a girl help me.
The girl's name is Angela. She sat with me and discussed my issues, and then proceeded to walk with me and help me find a pair of glasses. I've been wearing glasses for 52 yrs and I can't remember the last time anyone helped me pick out glasses. It was an enjoyable experience. Hopefully my glasses work out. I'll update when I get them.

The doctor is really nice but the front desk is by far the worst service I ever encountered. They took my documents and told me my insurance didn’t cover anything, promptly asking me multiple times if I wanted to proceed by paying out of pocket. I said no, (I had just taken my kids there and everything was covered). Then I asked them to review it with my insurance and call me to reschedule the appointment because it was over one hour wait and I couldn’t stay any longer. They never called me but they claim the service with my insurance company so I had to cancel that with my insurance to be seeing somewhere else. Very disappointing and frustrating service, I was treated in a hostile manner. Is it because I pay insurance they treat me like they are making me a favor by seeing me? Don’t waste your time there, is not worthy the discounts.

It is always a pleasure when it is time for my yearly eye exam. The prices and selections are great and of course the staff and doctors ALWAYS BRING A SMILE TO MY FACE. I have been going there for over 15 years now. So I guess that tells you something!!
