When Ketamine treatment was brought to my attention for the treatment of addiction, I did some research of my own and, ultimately, made an appointment to meet with Charles,
The owner of Myself Wellness, To discuss the treatment and see his facility.
I found him to be very knowledge and honest
Regarding what to expect, that is, if the
Patient was ready and willing to change his behavior that this treatment was very successful. After an evaluation was done he decided To seek treatment.

The facility is very comfortable and the staff is knowledgeable, kind and understanding.

My son has attended more than twelve inpatient Rehabs and countless outpatient services. I’ve dealt with facilities
That called the night before to be told that
Insurance was not covering anymore treatment and that he is being discharged in the morning with no follow up.

With that all being said, definitely see a difference in his behavior-after his completion of six treatments.

If you are reading this, I am assuming that you know or love someone that suffers from addiction. I’m very optimistic about the future, one day at a time.

My Self Wellness clinic is a great place to begin healing! The staff is AMAZING!! Had series of Ketamine shots about 3 and a half years ago and recently needed a booster!! The psychiatrist Dr Andrew Ferber is the best I've seen in my mental health journey. Christina and Charles are so amazing and Jess too! Very professional setting. They monitor you while you're having tx to keep you safe and comfortable! My depression was lifted yet once again and I will continue to get tx's as deemed necessary. They offer other services as well such as IV Vitamin therapy and support groups! I highly recommend giving them a call!

I can't say enough about myself wellness and the staff that they have there! They are caring understanding and accommodating to every need of your experience during your treatment! In my experience each patient was treated as if they were the only patient. I did this therapy completely desperate and open needing relief from extreme trauma anxiety depression. Purchased the recommended package (6 treatments i believe). Had extreme adverse reactions but pushed on out of desperation…last treatment by far the worst got violently ill. I should have stopped after the first one. It’s not for everyone. The Dr was a formality not helpful at all. He forgot to show up for my virtual appointment and cut it short when i wanted to talk about how traumatized i felt from the treatments.

Its a very expensive treatment and is tremendously successful for many people but not ALL. Its hard to listen to yourself when you are in such a distressed place. I encourage anyone considering this treatment to take it one treatment at a time. If you don't respond well work with team to see what your options are BUT do not be afraid to stop. I felt like it was my fault the treatments were not going well...it was a huge huge struggle.

Staff assistance/support was a great positive.

I went on line and read as much as possible after the first one. There are extreme reviews both ways...the conclusion is how you may react is unpredictable. Go in open to the treatment and reassess if its a good option for yourself. I also tried another facility in Sarasota that blocks the adverse reaction...complete waste don't recommend at all. I hope this helps someone be open to this treatment but not pushing through if its not helping you and your reaction is too extreme.

My experience felt dangerous but I absolutely believe thats a perception not reality. I believe its completely safe. And I would say other than the cost there is no downside or reason not to try it.

I honestly wish I could have tolerated it better because I understand how trauma effects brain chemistry and this treatment has the ability to adjust and allow you to experience joy again. I remember after the first treatment experiencing random joy....something I had not experienced in a very long time...it was as simple as a warm Florida breeze and a smile came over me.

This is an amazing place and experience! I can not say enough about how this place helped facilitate major growth and changes in my life. The staff are all wonderful and accommodating, they know exactly what you are experiencing because they have experienced it themselves. There is really no place like it. The setting is the picture of serenity, very clean, and nothing but good vibrations. I was able to get clean off opiates with no suboxone, or psychotropics, if you want to raise your vibration, and get to the root of it all, this is your place. The owners are amazing people, hands on involved in every aspect, and the entire staff as well. I absolutely love the place!

I didn’t know much about KT prior to my experience. All I knew is that the list of failed medications I had was getting way too long, the therapists didn’t “get it,” and I was suffering more and more every day with something family, friends, mental health professionals, doctors, or myself seemed to understand. And I’m no longer chained to my trauma. It’s the closest thing to a miracle I’ve ever experienced.
