My dad has been here at Sarasota health and rehab for about four months now and he absolutely loves the place. They take very good care of him. They attend to his needs. and he calls me every day to tell me about the food he has at every meal and he says it’s good and they feed him well.
Everyone so very nice there. They’re always willing to help. Jennifer In the Admissions department she is fabulous. She’s always there to help me if I need any help with any questions. She goes Beyond and above to help you if you need her.

I’m in the medical field myself And from my Experience in working in facilities I think Sarasota health and rehab deserves a Gold Metal Thank you, Sarasota health and rehab for all you do

To start I am a LCSW X 33 yrs. I have worked in the medical/mental health field my entire career. So I am more then aware of how these places are to be run. I will admit when my mother who is a resident there was admitted (4 1/2 months ago) I was in complete shock, angry and disappointed that she was there. It was not my choice to place her there. I was appalled at the lack of care, professionalism, compassion and customer service. However, since Tom Weaver, RN, DON has been there my attitude and opinion of this place has completely changed. He is one of the most if not the most caring, compassionate and dedicated RN’s I have ever met in my entire career. He is 100% authentic and is there for the patients/residents. He makes it his mission to check on her daily (couple times a day) as well as call me so I can speak to her. I have seen a complete change in my mom. She was not eating, drinking water or taking her medications. Since he has been there she is participating in all of the above. His dedication is relentless and remarkable. I can finally sleep at night knowing that she is now in excellent hands and is NOW receiving superior care. He updates me on a periodic basis so I am aware of how she is doing. She is telling jokes again and returning back into her normal self which is a beautiful and wonderful person. Having dementia has been very difficult for her as it would for anyone. He makes it a point to make her feel heard and takes the time to learn about her as a person. Mr Weaver “listens” to her and sits down to have actual conversations with her. No one did this before. 2 other RN’s Helix and Joan were always pleasant and also let me speak to my mom. Mr. Weaver is always in a excellent mood. He has an amazing personality and a positive attitude. Mr. Weaver is exactly what this place needed. When you do not live near your mom whom you love very much, and you are worried sick every day regarding her care and health, it becomes very difficult to cope. I was very disappointed and angry. I felt completely helpless. I just can’t stop in to see her. I reside 3 plus hours away. Mr Weaver is true to his word and does what he says he going to do. Mr. Weaver has a lot of wonderful ideas and plans he wants to implement and improve there. He has already made a huge impact on all the patients lives there. Not just my moms. Anyone who has to live in a place like this should be respected and their needs met. I have the utmost confidence that Mr Weaver will continue to work on his mission. Anyone reading this can rest assured that if you have a loved one there or friend, they are finally in good hands. People with dementia are usually overlooked. Mr. Weaver does not believe in this nor will he tolerate it. I have completely changed my view and attitude about this place. The BEST thing that has happened to this place is Mr Tom Weaver, RN, DON. He is not just a talker but a doer. I know this is a long review. But as stated before I was appalled at the services there and the inability to speak to my own mother for weeks at a time. For all that you have accomplished thus far Mr. Weaver, from the bottom of my and my husbands hearts we Thank you so very much.Thank you for coming. You saved my mom, and you are allowing me to speak to her multiple times a week. It is like she has woken up because she was not like this at the other place she resided at or when she was admitted here. And the biggest part of her change is you and your admiration for her. We communicate via via phone so you can assure me of how she really is doing. I am finally at peace of where my mom is now as she has to reside there for the rest of her living days. You are an absolute angel. Again thank you for caring for my mom and the other patients. PLEASE never leave! 🤗🤗 We look forward to meeting you at our next visit which will be very soon

I spent Three months in their care. They gave me compassion a good feeling. I wasn't scared knowing they had my life in their hands. They worked hard to put me back on my feet again. PT was carrying and understanding too my needs. I recommend them and would use them again

I have been with the company for a little over a month now and I am amazed at how smoothly this front team works together.
I work in the Admissions Department as the Coordinator . Jessica is the Admissions Director and is absolutely amazing . She works hard at making sure that all new residents/ patients are set to come in and be comfortable, going above and beyond to help them. Our business office manager Candace is the smartest woman I know, she works hard with the residents/patients to ensure they are financially able to complete their stay at Sarasota Health And Rehab. Marie is the administrator of the building. She has only been here for the last four or five months and has done amazing at working with this team and getting things going smoothly. She works endlessly with residents and their families to ensure that they are all happy with our services, as well as working very long days to ensure that the staff and the building is working properly and are also happy with their work and life balance. I am very happy to be working with this team and I can’t wait to see what the future holds.

This place deserves a zero. Mom stayed here for bit the nurses were liars.mom got her call button taken away. Never put someone here.

Disgusting witnessed the cnas changing residents with doors open and no privacy. Staff doing hair at the nursing station. Floors dirty, soiled laundry on the floors. The locked unit had people with dried up food on their faces. A gross smell when you open the kitchen door where the clean carts are placed by the ice.
Could be a really cute place.

This facility is very clean. Staff is friendly. Admissions Jen Warrener is the friendliest and kindest person a perfect match for this staffing!

I like to just give a shout out to the employees in the activity department. I think they're doing a fantastic job doing the best they can with what they got.
