Dr Ramnarain was great! He explained everything he was going to do beforehand. He was engaging while giving me stitches, which helped keep my mind off of it, and seemed to genuinely care about my comfort and treatment. I wish all doctors had such a great bedside manner, it really put me at ease. I'd also add that the nurses and front desk staff were also top notch in helpfulness, empathy, and they all smiled while interacting with me. That in itself, made me feel like everything was going to be alright. I'll definitely be recommending Guidewell to others needing quality minor emergency care. Thanks everyone for making a painful situation less stressful 🙂

I visited your urgent care location recently and left feeling incredibly frustrated and disappointed by the way I was treated. When asked whether my pain was work-related, I mentioned that I’m a dancer and figured overuse could possibly be a factor — but I did not mean that this was an actual work injury. I strongly believe the pain was due to a recent UTI or possibly from sleeping in an awkward position the night before.

Unfortunately, instead of simply explaining your workers’ compensation protocol, the woman in charge spoke to me in an incredibly rude, condescending, and accusatory manner — as if I was being dishonest, rather than someone who was just trying to get care and made a casual comment. There is a respectful, professional way to communicate policies and procedures to patients, and this was absolutely not it.

To be clear, this experience has zero reflection on the providers at this location, who have been exemplary in the past. The issue was solely with the individual overseeing the front desk interactions during my visit.

I ended up going to another GuideWell location on Semoran shortly after, and the difference was immediate. I was heard, respected, and treated with care — as patients should be. The doctor I saw at the Semoran location was absolutely incredible, and because of the way I was treated there, that location now has my business moving forward.

I hope this feedback is taken seriously. People come to urgent care because they’re already uncomfortable or in pain. The last thing they need is to be spoken down to or made to feel like they’re doing something wrong for simply seeking help.

UPDATE: A CT scan revealed that my excruciating back pain was directly related to constipation. I carry insurance — and I repeat, I was turned away and told I had to either self-pay for a supposed “work-related injury” or go through workers’ comp… for constipation. Completely unacceptable.

I can honestly say this was the best experience I've ever had at a medical facility. I walked in without an appointment on a busy Sunday and although there were some issues with Anthem they were kind to help out with it. They got me in rather quickly, were very attentive, and ran tests without issue. Overall a great experience.

The only downside, which isn't their fault, is the Trader Joe's being in the same parking lot. If it's busy it is extremely hard to get around anything, let alone parking, but they do have their own parking spots. However, I saw some people walking with Trader Joe's bags to their cars in those spots, so they might not enforce it much.

The clinical team here was great, which is why it pains me to leave this review. I was overcharged for my visit; I told the front desk that the amount they were charging me was too much, as I had met my deductible for the year and knew the amount ($160) was incorrect. They argued with me and I let it go, figuring I would sort it out later and just get a refund. The visit was 11/25... it's 2/17 and I am still arguing with their billing department about the $120 refund they owe me. I spoke with someone in December who had told me it would take 3-4 weeks. It had almost been 4 weeks already but I let it go due to holidays. I contacted them again 2/5, and they informed me that although the dispute had been entered in the system, somehow it fell through the cracks (?). I demanded my refund be processed on the spot. They said it was impossible but they were putting it back into the system where it would take another two weeks. DO NOT let them overcharge you. I would not pay them at all when you go in for a visit and let them bill you and let it go through insurance first and etc. This company has held onto my money for nearly 3 months and I'm having to involve my insurance company now and its so frustrating!

I actually love guide well I think it’s convenient. A one stop, very disappointed though when my husband went to see the doctor. The doctor really didn’t converse much with us. In fact we thought she was gonna come back in. She didn’t. The nurses are fantastic. The staff is fantastic and the cleanliness is great and so are most of the doctors but the one we had the other day I wasn’t impressed at all. my husband ended up with a spider bite, and the Doctor didn’t know what it was She just referred us to a dermatologist. I would’ve thought at least she would give him an antibiotic but nothing. Didn’t even wish my husband well just walked out of the room.

Literally the best - been many times for different things. Never have to wait too long, but I go in with the mindset that I may have to wait since it’s a walk in. I’ve done walk in and I’ve made appointments, and I’m always seen quickly. You have the option to sign in and complete your paperwork online as well I believe so the waiting process is even quicker. The staff is so nice and knowledgeable, always checking in on me while I’m there and giving me everything I need. Everything is kept clean too!

I had an inflammation in my wrist that had been bothering me for a few days I thought I had sprained it or something it went they did x-rays on the soft tissue and everything and let me know that it wasn't a strain or anything like that it was an arthritis flare-up they gave me a shot and some medicine and within a couple of days to swelling had went down and the pain was almost gone.
The entire staff was very professional and polite I was in to see the technician within 10 minutes and the whole process I was out of the door in about 30 minutes with the x-rays and the medicine everything the nurse and doctor were very professional and accurate would highly recommend

Everyone was so friendly and the doctor was quick to help. It was a great overall experience. We wouldn’t hesitate to come here again if needed.
