I was greeted by Renae, the receptionist who was warm and inviting on my initial visit. She was very attentive to me being a new patient and to all of my paperwork being uploaded properly. The office itself was clean and organized. Then I met Reinaldo, the MA. He was calm and reassuring during the initial part of my exam and was also very detailed orientated. Then, on time was Dr Dadamova. She was warm and friendly. She went over all my history and present concerns. Nothing was left undone or unanswered. I am grateful to have found this practice! Thank you all for a wonderful initial office visit!!

Kimmie snaps and tells me in a curt tone “it’s in review “ inquired for clarity ‘is it awaiting provider to sign off or?’ She snaps again in a curt tone “it’s pending review “ I have never had a rep speak in such an unpleasant tone. The call can be pulled 10:40 am for clarity

We moved to Sarasota/Manatee several months ago. My husband scheduled an appointment with Dr. Fine (veriMED Health Group Sarasota) for general check-up on April 5, 22. We came to the office well in advance with all 18 pages of forms that the office required to be filled in by a new patient. There were no other people in the office except two women at the desk. One of the women, a manager, requested that we wear masks. We explained that we could not do it because we had exemptions - my husband has asthma, and I have skin problems on the face. We offered to keep social distancing; it was easy to do because the office was empty, and there was more than enough space. The manager very rudely told us to wear masks immediately or leave. As my husband is not a young man, he is 79, and we live far away, we did not want to miss the appointment. We asked permission to wait outside until the doctor comes out to discuss the issue. The manager said that it was she who was the office boss, the doctor worked for her, and she made office rules. Anyway, we went out of the office and waited until the doctor came. He was very professional and polite. We wanted him to become our PCP and we, against our will, decided to put our masks on so as not to miss the appointment. The doctor left, and we were ready to enter the office again, but suddenly the office door opened, and the manager appeared in the door frame. By that time, we both had our masks on, but for this lady it was not enough. She approached me and tried to touch my face. This big woman, much bigger than I, wanted to demonstrate her power. She enjoyed her triumph.
She tried to pull my mask down more. I don’t know what she wanted to accomplish – my mask covered my nose and mouth, but she wanted to humiliate me, to show her superiority. “Don’t touch me,” I said. “I am not touching you,” she hissed. It was a lie. The situation was so ugly that we immediately left the facility.
We wasted more than an hour of our time in this place in vain. My husband could not get his consultation with the doctor. We both were humiliated. It is unbelievable that such behavior can be tolerated. People like this lady manager should not be allowed to work with patients.
