I've been a patient of Dr. Meyers for about 14 years. If you're looking for a quick doc in a box do not go here. But if you are seeking a doctor who truly cares about his patients and will spend whatever time he feels necessary with you to address your health care needs 100% go see Dr Meyers. The time spent in his waiting room is worth it. There has been a few times over the years that my health insurance has changed and Dr Meyers was not on my list of providers, my husband and I both agreed that Dr.Meyers is worth paying out of pocket to see during those times.
I can not sing his praises loud enough. He has saved my life more than once. If you care about your health, and want a doctor who cares about you Dr Meyers is you guy!

Not good when you have patients waiting to be seen and you’re dr is in with another patient for 30+ minutes discussing the election. Time is valuable especially when you are paying big $$$ to sit and wait.

And let’s go with another round 500 of sitting and waiting for 1.5 hours to be seen by the dr. Peoples health and time clearly doesn’t matter at this office. Also, if you are going to have patients with wait for so long at least have your front desk give them a heads up when they arrive. And charging $50 for moving an appt within 24 hours is robbery but, so are all their fees. On a positive note they moved the evil rude girl to the back of the house. Amen!

My husband and I have been going to this practice for over 5 yrs and are very pleased with the care we receive. We live and North Port & switched to a Dr closer to home briefly but quickly switched back.

Dr Meyer is by far the most caring and knowledgeble Doctor I've found since moving here 10 year ago. He took the all the time necessary to accurately assess my concerns and begin treatment program that has been successful from day one. If they are ever running behind schedule I'm certain it because they are giving someone else the propert medical attention needed for their situation. Just my opinion, but I'd much rather have a delay in my schedule than be rushed out the door without being properly treated like most doctors do these days.

On my follow up visits, I've received the same thorough and caring treatment. I'd highly recomend Dr Meyer to anyone who cares more about their health than a small inconvenience in their day!!

Arrived at 8:15 for 8:30 initial appointment, at 9:20 left because had not been seen. The patient room had a band aid wrapper on the floor and the paper on the waiting table was bunched up from the prior patient.

The Good - Doctors are wonderful! The physician assistants are tremendous and are a great support for the overall operation.

UPDATE — The Administrative aspects have significantly improved. they have a great team supporting the overall operation.

Overall - Would strongly recommend using this practice.

I've been going here over 5 years and the last year it has really gone downhill. Today I went and saw a note that if you are experiencing flu like symptoms (which I was) to wait in your car and call the number. I did and some woman (they never say their name) took my info and I assumed put me on the list to be seen. I waited in my car for an hour and a half and heard nothing. Then I went back in and discovered they never put me on the list to be seen. Eventually I was taken to an exam room where I waited another half hour and still nobody came in to see me. At that point it had been 3 hours. I was so frustrated I just walked out. I'm not sure what the problem is but I will never go back there again. Awful to be treated that way when you are already not feeling well

Great family practice, staff is very friendly and organized. The place is clean and organized. Walk ins welcome, not expensive. Overall a great experience coming in for physical exam.
