I would just like to say that my experience on this past Saturday night was phenomenal. The staff That helped were compassionate and polite. Dr. Bernstein was great and Kyle who I believe was a PA was also wonderful and Wendy who checked us out was a riot. The person that was seen in the emergency room 'had never been to an emergency room ever and was quite impressed

Well the ER was good and pretty quick to get me in and settled. Doctors and nurses we're very good. But the food was not that good. I had to make sure I ordered it .As far As being clean , not good . On the 11 days I was there my sheets we're changed twice. They left me cleaning pads to clean myself 5 or 6 times. The floor was covered with the tips of the syringes, little plastic pieces. They emptied the trash. But did very little cleaning. That was on floor three. When I was on floor five, they cleaned everything. That cleaning lady was very good. Don't know what happened when you moved down to floors. And you would think where I had MRSA. They would make sure that place was clean as a whistle and it wasn't.

This hospital is amazing! From the people at the front desk to the security team, to the doctors, the nurse practitioners, the PAs, the radiology department, the x-ray technicians, the phlebotomy department, 10 out of 10 always. We had to bring my mom to the ER the other night and we had Jesse as our nurse and he was amazing!! He made us smile and he made us laugh and he made us comfortable and my mom was so pleased with how sweet he was to her. We appreciate you, Jesse and someone needs to give this man a raise XO 🙂

I had to take my husband to the ER. We used HCA Sarasota Doctors Hospital. I pulled up to the entrance and went in to request help to bring him in. Jennifer (RN) heard me tell the volunteer, and she immediately went into high gear to assist. He was throwing up, and she calmly worked with him. Before he was even out of the car she contacted inside to have a room ready for him. Being a nurse takes a special person. You are handling peoples lives and then also need to handle all different types of personality's. Jennifer didn't stop assisting patients, and the best part. Even if they were not assigned to her she went out of her way to help them. Her 12 hr shift was over and my husband who has a very strong personality had a question. With all her personal belongings in hand to leave she stopped to answer his question. Jennifer needs to be recognized for being professional, polite, friendly, knowledgeable and her meticulous appearance. She has it all put together. Thank you. Debra and Bob Hansen

Margo was my mother’s emergency room nurse. She never wore gloves. My daughter and I never saw her wash her hands. She had a bad hacking cough and we saw her sneezing. Still never washed her hands. To top it off when we went outside she was smoking by my daughter’s car. Totally disgusting!!

Took my for daughter for diagnosis because she was having abdominal pain. Put her through multiple CTs to have the results still be inconclusive even though her symptoms were textbook appendicitis. She had an emergency appendectomy and Dr Hendricks was great.
