Was sick on a Sunday night and was able to walk in at 9 p.m. and be seen. Courteous, friendly, and professional staff. The doctor showed genuine concern and was very knowledgeable but made things simple to understand. The entire experience was great. I would recommend going here.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I went in with the following symptoms: white spots on my tongue, head and nasal congestion, a sore throat, ear pain and itchiness, and difficulty swallowing.

The PA, named Charise, I saw was shockingly condescending. She administered a strep test, which came back negative, and hastily diagnosed me with GERD. Without any meaningful discussion, she rushed to suggest an endoscopy and a referral to a gastroenterologist. I expressed my frustration, as it was clear to me that I had an infection—after all, my throat was red, my ears were in pain, and I had visible white spots on my tongue.

When she asked about my ear pain, I tried to explain that the discomfort was so deep that I instinctively attempted to relieve it by moving my tongue against the back of my throat. Her verbatim response? "You know your ear is not located in your throat, right?" I calmly reiterated that I understood basic anatomy but was experiencing a deep, radiating pain. Her next remark—"What did you expect out of this appointment?"—made it clear she had no interest in actually addressing my concerns. When I asked if any other condition could explain my symptoms, she dismissed the idea outright.

At that point, I was beyond frustrated, humiliated, and still feeling incredibly sick. I left in tears, right in front of my husband and the nurse.

We immediately went to Stony Brook Emergency Hospital, where thorough testing confirmed I had an infection, and I was appropriately treated with antibiotics. When I mentioned the PA’s comment about the ear and throat, the doctor at Stony Brook actually laughed before apologizing on her behalf. He then suggested I educate her on the Eustachian tubes, cranial nerve IX, referred pain, and the shared anatomy and nerve pathways between the throat and ears.

Perhaps the PA should take a refresher course in basic medical knowledge—and patient empathy.

****** WARNING! I went to this urgent care with severe pain on back of head, neck, shoulder, and chest. Was also having difficulty breathing!
This Dr at this urgent care did nothing. Literally nothing. Did not run any tests or do any imaging. Sent me on my way saying it was a pulled muscle! Even after I explained to her the other things that were going on with me as well. Extreme dizziness, mild fever and vomiting!
I went home and made an appointment with my Dr, and 2 days later, I went to my appointment and my Doctor immediately sent me to get a chest Xray. It turns out I have pretty severe pneumonia!
Thank you Northwell Health Urgent care for almost putting me in the hospital!

I loved my initial experience. Providers could not have been nicer or professional. Very happy with the care on my visit.
However, I had a very negative reaction to the medication prescribed. I called several times to get an alternative with no success. This was very disturbing since the MD.that examined me told me to call with any concerns or questions! I was told several times that I would get a call back from the provider.
Very disappointing.

They make you feel like family the amount of time they spend with you and going over every little detail is amazing. If there ever is a case where me or my son is not feeling well we do not have to wait weeks for an appointment. They get you in right away and answer any type of concerns and check you out thoroughly.

Went in December 18th and saw an assistant first then a doctor. I clearly had all the symptoms of a sinus infection but the doctor insisted that it was just a bad cold and he couldn’t prescribe an antibiotic for it because it wouldn’t help and would make me worse. He told me to just let it run its course, that colds take time to heal. After he saw that I wasn’t in total agreement with him, he agreed to call in the antibiotic as “a courtesy” but said not to take it for 3-4 days because I would be improving without it! Thank God I know my body and knew what this was. Started the medicine immediately, and in 60 hours, I was so much better. I can’t imagine where I would have been had I not started taking that! I wouldn’t have posted even one star, but I had to in order to write this review. I will NEVER return to this Urgent Care facility again. HORRIBLE!!

If I could say any positive it would be the nurses were kind and caring. Unfortunately the Dr I saw was by far one of the worst. He shouldn't have a medical license. As someone who works in the medical field I have never witnessed such stupidity. Labs were ordered, results took 6 days and then finally someone called me to advise I should go to er because my cmp was so abnormal, 6 days later. The CBC that is stated on the visit summary, well northwell labs said it was never ordered so I decided to go to Stony Brook lab outpatient and within 2 hours labs were done and so critically low and high I had to immediately get to er to replenish potassium and high doses of antibiotics. I hope this place realizes the urgency and safety of patient labs moving forward. Blood work doesn't take 6 days to get back results on a cmp and to be told 6 days later my labs were so abnormal they advise me to go to er is a joke. At least the nurses are true heros.
