Everyone in the Port Jefferson CityMD was wonderful!! The nurses were very sweet and caring, the physician was very thorough and kind. The X-ray tech was great. The doctor was careful to make sure everything was correct and I felt very relieved to have had her.
The follow up call from the clinical tech made sure I understood exactly what medications I was to take for my pneumonia and they want a follow up X-ray done in 6 weeks. So very thorough in my care.
In many ways, it’s so much easier going to CityMD than my primary for these instances. Most everything is done in house, I don’t have to run around. That’s very much appreciated when you’re sick.

Thank you to the 2 women at the desk for the calming & patient energy when taking my info, to the nurse who I first spoke with after going into a room, and to the doctor for making me feel like you actually cared about my pain and wanted to help make it go away. I recently visited City MD Port Jefferson and had a mixed experience. The doctor I met was excellent—patient, attentive, and polite. He listened carefully, discussed my concerns in detail, and provided the necessary prescription.

However, my interaction with Nurse David was very disappointing. He was dismissive and rude from the moment he walked in. When I requested manual blood pressure measurement, he cut me off mid-sentence, rolled his eyes, and rudely proceeded with the machine. Such behavior is unprofessional and unacceptable in the medical field.

Don't go here. A case of a very clear sinus infection and they prescribed Flonase, a cough suppressant, and to continue taking Mucinex. On a follow up visit 3 days later with no improvement they took a chest x-ray (different location) and said keep using the same stuff.

Seems they could care less about actually helping you get better and only care about charging your insurance for the multiple visits.

Appointments can be made online or walk in. Offices are immaculate, large and parking great. Doctors and support staff are friendly, professional and thorough .

Thank you for your great care and in such a timely manner … I was home and back in bed within an hour and medications were sent ASAP to my pharmacy ..I went to the Port Jefferson site .

Very friendly and helpful staff. I had a fractured elbow and front desk made the appointment for the orthopedic Dr. that I saw the next day. Although It was over an hour 1/2 wait it was a shorter time that would have been spent in the hospital emergency room.

Absolutely fabulous. The kindness, compassion, and understanding of our situation went so far beyond anything I've experienced in the medical field. They even called becacause they were truly concerned about the outcome. A true gem of a place with a staff that takes wonderful bedside manner to a whole other level.
