Starting with Calm Seas was amazing, smooth actually, to the point where I stood with them for two years. However, they started to show their true colors. This company does not actually care about the mental safety of its clients nor the therapists they hire. I did not leave, they kicked me out and deleted my account. Know why? They claimed that my therapist was no longer with them due to family reasons (which is a lie, as a company is not allowed to disclose said information) and claimed that I was difficult to work with. Do not waste your time nor money with this company, they literally told me “if you don’t like how we handle things, go somewhere else”. This company says they’re caring and compassionate while also telling you to go somewhere else if you can’t confine to their rules. They also make changes to your appointments without your therapist’s knowledge and/or permission.
The images were conversations that I had with a supervisor who I reached out for help and resulted in deleting my account right there and then without any warning and without my consent.

My daughter has been coming here for over 4 + years. She started out at 15 years old and is now 19. She has come a long way thanks to her wonderful therapist Alison Damm. She really can relate to adolescents/young adults. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Billing is very cooperative as well. I can only speak for my personal experience with the one therapist. I would recommend Calm Seas.

Update: Sharon has been great to help resolve a difficult situation. I don't know how much the past can be fixed, but Calm Seas is doing their best, and I appreciate the effort.

Husband and I have both gone to Calm Seas. He still goes (for a year) but I stopped. Our therapists drove a wedge between us for reasons known best to them. Now, our marriage is over and my husband thinks everything his therapist says is gospel. Beware of the power these people have. This has been easily the most traumatic experience from betrayal to deceit and all things in between.

Seriously changed my life, for the better! If you are a first responder, you should be connecting with this office. My therapist is absolutely amazing and advocated for me when I was at my lowest and struggling. I have also done EMDR therapy through this office and can honestly say that in itself has been a critical part of my recovery. These therapist care about us and with their shared experiences and specialized training for military and first responders it is a safe haven and easy to connect.

Although the website lists multiple care for anyone seeking mental health therapy, it seems if you are not of the distinction of law enforcement, ems, or military, you will not be seen at this practice but have the option of being wait listed. I’m guessing the wait listed is waiting for them to realize that mental health also affects people outside of their job description. How is it that in this day and age, discrimination has become such a hot zone of offense yet this act of discrimination is allowable It may be the most ridiculous and disgusting practice I have ever heard of.
