I'll give 2 stars because the receptionist was nice.. I did ask a question though about check in and she said "I think" this option "I don't know what that means". I waited an hour and a half in the waiting room without any update. I finally asked for an update and was told it would be a long time and I should probably go somewhere else. So I received a refund and went somewhere else.. Wish I would've known sooner before wasting almost 2 hours of my life. 😭

The front desk could use some more competent people. Called this morning to see if they accept care credit, "I don't know," ...okay. not the end of the world, I have another payment method if need be. I ask what the wait time is and there are only two people in front of me. Great. I ask if they can hold a spot, "no, we can't do that over the phone,"...good thing I live five minutes away. Get there and apparently in that five minute window another six people came in, of course there's no estimate of how long the wait will be other than "a while,"...really awesome when you have a 103 fever and can't breathe and are told you can be seen promptly, only to drive there and be forced to potentially sit there for hours, oh, and they "don't know" what payment methods they can take? A person in front of me lost her spot in line because the receptionist "forgot" to sign her in...who knows how long she was waiting? Oh, and they also "don't know" exactly what your out of pocket costs will be until after you're seen. Basically it's all just a really fun guessing game at this office apparently. Baycare is trash.

Changed review from 3 to 4 stars for the prompt response of the office manager of this location to discuss my concerns on a billing matter. The follow up changed the experience completely.

Waited over a hour for a 60 second evaluation to be told go to ER. Went to ER where the same testing that could have been conducted in office was done. Duplicate charges for the pt in addition to an extra 3 hours of waiting instead of resting. Not great when already ill . Definitely a virus that could have been treated in the out patient setting so ER could have been available to service more urgent cases.

I had a great experience at BayCare Urgent Care. Broke my wrist and was in pain. There was one person in front of me - midday. Seen right away, gave me a splint, ice and recommedation for an ortho. Also a recommendation for the best ice cream nearby! 🙂

Fantastic experience from start to finish. I was seen within 20 minutes without an appointment. Front desk receptionist was extremely friendly knowledgeable and professional. The Physician that I met with was fantastic and diagnosed my malady immediately and prescribed me appropriate medication. I highly recommend BayCare Urgent Care New Port Richey

Staff was friendly and pleasant. Waiting room and examination rooms were clean. I would definitely recommend BayCare Urgent Care, New Port Richey to anyone who in an emergency can't get to their primary doctor.

I had reserved a slot so the wait wasn't long although it was busy there. A lady came out of the office and passed water to all the people who had been waiting. Snacks too. The staff was professional, friendly and courtious. The dr was efficient and very understanding g.

Urgent care? I do not think so

I did an appoiment and when I did arrive nobody knows my appoiment and we was first there and we had to wait 2 hours and leave without being seen cause like 5 different people was attended before me.

I did ask for a refund
No explanation given just a stupid "Yesterday a person wait 3 hours" jajajajajajajaj

And yes there is someth8ng you can do better , Get a lobotomy in your personnel
