My son was hurt on their property & while in their care & this placed has assume zero responsibility. My son suffered a fractured orbital bone & loss his tooth on their watch! Horrible place, I would never send any kid here ever again!

Our daughter is at the transition age & just in a transition period in general. We started homeschooling last school year and she turned 18 this month so we are having to switch from the pediatric world over to the adult world for care and services elsewhere. PLS has been INCREDIBLY helpful, flexible, supportive, understanding, loving and caring for EVERY STEP of our ever-changing life and our daughter is THRIVING since starting services. She is happier, smarter and her target behaviors have decreased an ENORMOUS amount when I didn't even know it was possible! What I would rate as a level 10 with aggression when we first started was something that would truly injure me. What I consider a level 10 now is nothing more than a scream, stinkery look and maybe a small pinch or lite tap. (If you know, you know.) They truly understand the unique world that our kiddos and young adults live in and are able to join them, reach them at their level and encourage them in out of the box ways to make them understand what they need to start doing and makes them want to grow and learn! It's amazing to watch. We are so thankful and grateful to have found PLS and look forward to watching our daughter continue to grow and for us as parents to keep learning and understanding how to reach our kids too.

My experience with Proactive Life skills has been nothing but great! And the staff has been outstanding.

The owner, some staff, and overall quality of this place is despicable. As someone who has experienced the lies and deceit of this “business” I would highly recommend not enrolling your child here. Most staff is under qualified without their RBT certificates and let the children run the clinic. Stop while you’re ahead and apply to another qualified ABA clinic before damage is done.

Would not recommend. ABA is based on data collection, Unfortunately this center did not follow many basics of ABA with my child. There are some good RBT’s but not sufficient enough to recommend. I had to frequently ask for updates, behavior plans not followed, a list full of problems. Problems were more than just, It’s Covid era, problems.

Proactive Life Skills is the most comprehensive learning center in the area by far. The functional learning approach is refreshing and other clinical settings could learn from the PLS model. Seeing students make such incredible progress speaks for the care going into quality services. Beyond grateful that I found PLS and hope other centers are doing this kind of life changing work!!!
