My visit to Urgent Care of New Port Richey was fantastic from start to end. The nurse was friendly and very efficient getting me checked. She took me back to the exam room right away. Wait time 5 minutes or less! Dr Hatton was great! Very knowledgeable and figured out my symptoms right away and ordered my prescriptions within a few minutes. The pharmacy had them ready and picked them up on my way home. What a great experience and I'm feeling better already! Thank you to the staff at Urgent Care! This will be my go-to Urgent Care for now on!

I Went in for a wellness check. The receptionist called to verify insurance and copay. I was then sent to a room. The doctor was friendly. Was given an appropriate diagnosis. Was released from room and given paperwork. I asked the receptionist about the copay. She said it was $70. On my health card, it says the copay is $30. She mentioned being on hold for 15 minutes. She also noted that the person on the line had told her the price was $70. I showed her the health card after the transaction was complete with a $30 copay. I then said I would be calling my insurance provider. She then said she would change the price if there were any problems. I called insurance, and they said I was charged the wrong amount and had to drive back up to get a refund. It's a total waste of my time, and I feel taken—advantage of because I am not feeling well.

Liked the fact that there was no kiosk, but a very friendly receptionist to check me in. Very little wait time as I went without an appointment. Paperwork involved was only 2 pages. Noticed immediately how clean the waiting room is, as well as, the exam room. Services provided with their fee is clearly noted in the waiting room. Entire staff were very professional and friendly. Very satisfied.

I loved most of the staff. The lady at the front desk was not welcoming. Most were very nice and sweet. They did bandage me up. Unfortunately, I had to go back to the ER the next day. I recommend going to the ER first if you have decent insurance.

They took an x-ray of my foot - the results given here were wrong. They didn’t glue or stitch my wound, and did not think to x-ray my leg. I walked out of the urgent care on foot, but was wheeled out of the ER because I now have to use crutches. The ER staff were flabbergasted. If you have a minor injury, this can be a place you can go to.

The check in desk was quick and professional. I had an appointment and they saw me right away. Everyone was courteous and efficient. No time wasted and very clean. I had taken my mom in the past and the PA was very kind to her.

Visited this facility today seeking treatment for my husband’s sciatica. Was very pleased to find a clean office with friendly staff. With little wait time, we were in an exam room. The doctor and nurses quickly had my husband treated and we were ready to go. As Snowbirds, we are thankful we now how health care available at such a wonderful place. This place is fantastic!

I went to Urgent care this weekend and overall had a very good experience. The clinic is super clean- when I was able to get back to a room, I could tell it had just been sanitized which was reassuring because there was a lot of juicy coughing 😅 I needed an xray and the technician was so kind and gentle with me, as was the doctor who came to discuss the results and examine me. The receptionist was a bit… gruff.. but she was also pretty sick (wearing a mask which was thoughtful) so I’ve got to give her grace because I wouldn’t want to talk to anyone if I was sick. I will definitely go back in the future if I need to.

It's a difficult review to make, because the doctors and most office staff have been wonderful. The woman at the front desk is the most unwelcoming person I have ever encountered. I shouldn't have to feel sorry for interrupting whatever she's doing when I approach the front desk to sign in. Granted, I understand it was frustrating that I didn't have my new insurance number or card. Believe me, it's equally the same frustration for me. However, treating me like I'm an inconvenience to her day while I'm visibly sick surely didn't make me feel better in any capacity. A little kindness, patience, and empathy go a long way. This encounter happened with her a few months ago and I chose to let it go, thinking everyone has a rough day. But, it's a repeat as of today and it was uncomfortable. I could've went back to my car to figure out the insurance issue, but I chose to go elsewhere with a more kind and understanding person to check me in.
