The business office is a mess. I have been trying to get an itemized receipt with procedure codes for a visit in March 2023 for over a year no to no avail. i have had to fight with them over and over on major insurance certification issues as well. Also, since Dr Pattem left, I don’t think the physician care has been as good

Dr. Pattem is fantastic, but the administrative side of this office is seriously lacking. I informed them over one week ago that the phone number shown under the Google Search for their office is not correct. I just submitted the correction to Google directly, which means it might be fixed in about 24 hours, assuming they accept my suggestion. Why are patients (like me) the ones correcting a Doctor's Office's primary phone number? This is pure incompetence on their part.

Also, I was running late to my last appointment, which was at 3 pm, and I called their office number, which does not get answered by their office staff most of the time. It goes to a call center or centralized office, who then has to send a message to the staff at their local office. I called at 3:01 pm, and arrived before they even received my message from their central office. The doctor had already left for the day, even though their office hours at supposed to be from 9 AM to 4:30 PM.

Of my four appointments, two were cancelled and rescheduled within the last six months. Something doesn't seem right about this office. Oh, one more thing....Why is the waiting room completely empty every single time I visit the office? Is it me, or are there hardly any patients using this office?

I agree Dr. Pattem is interested, pro active and knowledgeable about my health care. I am delighted I found her.
Alas, the back office are sadly lacking.I get the feeling staff are rotated.
My second Appt there I did not receive a reminder call. I thought this office might not be set up yet. I arrived for my appt. No Record of it. Suggestion for me to stay anyway. I did, left after 45 minutes without seeing a Dr.
Ok so these things happen.
August, 30 th I had another Appt. that I canceled and changed to Sept 6 th with follow up on 13 th. I’m very wary of Appointments since my second one went wrong so I write them into my calendar.

No reminder call for the 6 th day before was Labour day. So I didn’t go. It’s a bit of a trek to PGA so I don’t need to go on a wild goose chase, again. Instead I get a reminder on the 7 th to go on 8 th.!!!!!
No way was I going on the 8 th. I had not agreed to go on the 8 th.

So, I still have not gone for that visit. To be honest, I’m a tad miffed about what happened.
Then to top all that….last Friday I received a bill from the Drs office. It stated clearly, I OWED 480.00 acct total. PAY THIS AMOUNT.
BALANCE FROM A 1440.00 bill that Ins paid 567.00
No ifs ands or buts, I owed 480.00
I became alarmed and upset. I called my Ins Co. who told me to IGNORE IT. I said, it states clearly, I OWE THE MONEY…THEY SAID NO YOU DO NOT.
Now, if I were senile, or did not have all my faculties, or was in any way confused….I might write that Cheque for that “ BILL” I think someone needs to monitor these bills prior to their being sent.
Meanwhile, I’m practicing “ cooling off”

Doctor Sirvaitis and her medical assistant are the absolute best. She has helped me so much already in the short period I have been seeing her. She really cares about her patients. Highly recommend to anyone in the area

Poorly organized, poorly run, physicians do not get back to you with abnormal (imaging) results; do not renew meds upon pharmacy request; insist of making unnecessary billable visits.
