Would not recommend for couples counseling at all.

Good for the individual but she made our relationship way worse. Straight up told us individually (not while together) that it wouldn't work at all. I've consulted with two other health professionals since and they were both appalled that she'd say that.

Of course our relationship had its problems, that's why we went to see her but we were spending our precious time and money for her to help us bridge that gap. She point blank put a permanent wedge between us that truly breaks my heart that it feels so irreversible.

This would be like going to the doctor after you break your legs and instead of repairing and putting a cast on them; he chops them off saying "can't do anything about it" but meanwhile giving hope to the family saying, "we'll do all that we can".
