My review is based off of being an advocates perspective. I dropped my husband off at the Willough at Naples on 3/17/24 and flew back home. The whole process was simple, easy, and reassuring. The admitting process was fabulous. Once we got there admitting did their standard protocol, which is taking your temperature doing a drug test going through a history. Fernando, the in-take nurse was fabulous. He made me feel comfortable leaving my husband and going 1000 miles back home. During my husbands stay, the staff answered any of my questions. They support both addict and advocate. I highly recommend this place. I read a lot of reviews but people have to remember one thing , any facility is what you make it. So if you want to go and get sober and stay sober, this was the place for my husband. Over 1 year clean with no relapses. Thank you Willough at Naples. Thank you to all the staff that has to work and handle each person separately to make them feel comfortable and healthy. You all deserve a hero award!!

THIS IS A MONEY MAKING MACHINE!!!!

I received treatment at The Willough, and honestly, I have some serious concerns. It felt like some counselors were getting kickbacks for referring clients to certain halfway houses, which just didn’t sit right with me. That kind of thing really makes you question their motives. Are they helping people or just chasing commissions?

On top of that, there seemed to be a lot of over-prescribing of medications, which felt unnecessary and even a bit reckless. I also found out that a staff members actually own the ATM and vending machines inside the facility. That felt like a conflict of interest, as if they’re looking for ways to profit off the patients wherever they can.

Most of the staff were pretty confrontational and didn’t seem very experienced or knowledgeable about addiction recovery. The counselors, in particular, felt like they weren’t specialized or equipped to handle real recovery work. It just didn’t feel like they knew what they were doing half the time.

What’s even more frustrating is that addiction issues are still a problem inside the facility. There’s a ton of junk food, and smoking breaks are constant, which seems totally counterproductive when you’re supposed to be focusing on getting healthy.

All in all, it felt less like a place for healing and more like a business designed to make money off vulnerable people. I really hope the management steps up, because people go there looking for help, and they deserve so much better.

I had an excellent experience at The Willough in Naples, FL. I'd been to a few other rehab/treatment facilities prior to being a patient at The Willough, but had my best treatment outcome (so far), at The Willough in Naples. Dr. Capiola, my therapist, Eileen, and other staff members at the Willough were very helpful. The patient demographic tends to be closer to my age (over 50), so I felt more comfortable than in facilities with a much younger patient population

I was in treatment here over 30 years ago and it was amazing. It's has taken me many years to finally have 25 years of continued sobriety from drugs, alcohol and a severe eating disorder but will forever be grateful for my experience here.
I had an amazing Therapist that is no longer with them named Hilda and I couldn't have done it without her love and support. I'm desperate to find her if anyone can help me please reach out

The place is a fairytale from what you see online.People who voluntarily check in are treated as baker-acted peers. The swimming pool and tennis courts are ficticious. The only positive things to say is the kitchen staff is awesome! Especially the Guy and Lady who work the weekend shift. The 200 hall has great techs and Nurses.Ron,Alberto and even Steve always try their best to make your day not suck so much.Robert, the P.A. is genuinely one of the best medical advisores I've ever met...he would check on me,take walks with me and helped me with therapy..Eileen was also awesome.Give her back the meetings and time for counseling patients...shout out to Fernando and Angelina.

Aside from the food, I have nothing great to say. My brother was in for prescription drug abuse. Not once did a doctor come talk to him. They had nothing for him to do during the day. I called four times to talk about the plan for his discharge and how to wean him off the Suboxone which they now have him addicted to. No one called me back. I am 800 miles away and they discharged him on day 6 with no plan. Neglect at its finest.

I can't thank all of the amazing staff that took care of me enough. I had been to countless doctors and never got help like I received at The Willoughs. The staff treated me with such kindness, care, and compassion. The facility is great! Rooms are nice. The environment doesnt make you feel uncomfortable. Pool is beautiful and the activities aren't bad. The therapists is are all fantastic in their own way.

Dr. Lado is the first doctor in 20 years to diagnose me correctly. He treated me with respect and dignity. He listened and gave me validation. He is a brilliant psychiatrist and a good man. I look forward to continuing my aftercare with him.
