My Daddy came to Superior in March 2023. We have been so pleased with care and attention given to him. The staff is always willing to listen and talk me when I have concerns or if I just need to talk.

My parents came to Superior about 3-4 years ago. At first it was a nice place, the administrator was helpful, nice employees. Then Covid happened and it started going downhill. Currently has a different administrator who talks nice but is not helpful. My moms belongings disappear, blankets,sheets, clothes. We were asked to buy more supplies when there was a delivery a few days earlier several times. Another resident there is periodically violent, has attacked my mom, other residents and staff.
Supposedly they have memory care which is nothing more than a locked facility. No special memory program.

When my mom came to Superior a little over 2 years ago from Ohio, she was at the lowest point in her life - dementia taking over her mind and her not accepting it, not taking her medications, doctors not listening to me, etc. Everyone at Superior was wonderful and pulled together to make her transition as comfortable as possible. When I couldn't find a doctor in this area that would take my mom's medicare replacement policy, the director found a nurse practitioner that has proven to be fantastic. When anything happens with my mom, I'm called immediately, consulted and listened to! The current director, marketing director, head nurse are all fully invested in the facility and the care of the residents. I see the devotion that the staff gives to my mom every day and am thankful I found Superior!

I was so surprised and thankful for the loving care that my dad received for the last year at Superior. He was always treated with kindness and respect, and he could be a handful at times. He had previously stayed at a fancy high-priced assisted living facility that did not have the same level of care and he had countless falls and trips to the emergency room. That all stopped when he came to Superior. My dad was fortunate and typically had visitors 7 days a week and we had a camera in his room, so this review comes from a lot of input over the last year. I knew to be concerned for my dad’s health when I heard the concern in my dad’s caregivers voices talking to him. Thank you to all of the wonderful caregivers and nurses at Superior.

I had a fantastic experience with getting help for my mom at Superior. Not only did they perform a miracle by getting her in at the last minute, they made every effort to make sure she had the best care during her respite stay. Can't thank them enough for all they did for our family.

My Mom moved into Superior a little over 2 years ago. She was exhibiting the signs of Dementia and could no longer live alone. I live out of state and she did not want to leave Niceville so this was a real find. The staff is compassionate and caring. Whenever there is a problem, I am called and solutions are discussed. The staff learned how to let us video chat so I can chat with Mom on a weekly basis. She is very happy that she can see and well as hear me. She says the meals are good and there are daily activities planned that are designed to help her with her memory. When there is a medical issue, qualified professionals come to her instead of her having to go to an office, a positive during Covid. All in all pleased with her care. Thanks Superior!

Superior cared for my father in the memory ward and did a great job. There are many caring people that work there and it is very well managed. The director, Ms. Sondra Readett was great! My father previously was at a much more expensive ALS (Somerby) but I think he received much better care at Superior. Emerald Coast Hospice also has a strong presence at Superior. No place is perfect and I understand that. I am very appreciative of the care he received at Superior and from Hospice. I even had a camera in his room. Thank you Superior!
