I really haven't had a terrible experience here. I just wish that I could actually see Dr. Clark more often. I saw her for the first time in about three years on my last visit. Not to take away from the nurse practitioners, I just don't feel like I have a very good relationship with anyone and a person's health is important. I also noticed that people don't stay very long, rather it be doctors or nurse practitioners. I don't know. I've been tempted to look around to find a doctor and staff that will take time for me and won't just up and leave with no warning. I'm a full time resident here in Fort Myers, and when all the "snow birds" get down here, I realize that things get hectic. I'm sorry to be so blunt, but the northerners come down here with and "entitled" attitude.

I have had nothing but quality service from the staff at physicians primary care. Last week I was onset with severe headaches and dizziness. I tried getting an appointment with the doctor through the portal on Saturday, but had not heard back due to the weekend. So on Monday morning, I called and got in to see the nurse assistant. Suddenly, an appointment with the doctor showed up. I canceled the nurse anssistant appointment on the portal, but for some reason, the portal canceled the doctors appointment. I called in and explained the mistake, and the staff went out of their way to help me find a new appointment even earlier with the doctor. They were very kind and understanding and helped me tremendously.

Please don't schedule here; find somewhere else. I originally picked here because a doctor on my health insurance was here that had decent reviews on the health insurance website. She left after that 1st visit (as I see in other reviews most do), and she didn't properly fill out my prescription for a year. The doctor that they assigned me to now won't properly fix it. I was given attitude and told it was my "pharmacy's issue." Not only that, I was told we would discuss this matter at my next appointment, which is in 5 weeks. They are okay with just cutting someone off a prescription without talking to them about what it would be like to their body. Needless to say, I won't be returning for that appointment.

If it weren't for being an ex-employee and having a relationship with my current physician, I would avoid this place at all costs only because of the patient service representative. The representative at check-in #1 window has everything but a nice attitude and welcoming face. When she tried to collect more money than was needed for my appointment, I informed her that the visit is self pay and shouldn't cost that much. I know for a fact I am only supposed to pay a certain amount, I've been here for this type of visit multiple times. Rather than just saying okay or getting management to verify, she explained that they will determine my cost by the end of the visit, and will adjust the amount at that time. I told her this type of appointment doesn't go through insurance and I've paid the same amount for the last 3 visits, she said fine, we'll do it your way, rolled her eyes, turned in her chair and grabbed my encounter. She finished checking me in and said you're all set and when I said thank you and she said nothing. Complete disregard for common courtesy as a patient service representative. Your job as a patient service representative is to make sure, me as a patient, is satisfied at the same protecting your company so it isn't getting screwed. There's an extent you go to, and she doesn't know what it is. This isn't the first bad encounter I've had with her, today just topped it off. I've worked in customer service for the medical industry for 15 years, so I expect it. It's not good practice for your company to have someone this rude at your front desk, especially the first face that they see. Every time I come in here, she seems irritated that somebody walked through the door and interrupted her. If that's the case, it's time to find a new job or revisit the patient service representative job description when you were hired.

The doctors are nice and the blood work team is good but VERY HIGH TURNOVER - From the 3 and half years going here, I have now have 3 Dr.'s or NP's leave and the front office has never called me to inform me or reschedule with a new Dr. I have to find out by calling

The literal worst. Some of the most miserable admins I have ever encountered. It's as though someone grabbed their hands and forced them to fill out the application to work here. They'll call you out of the blue saying that you need to schedule a "Follow-up," but when you ask what for they're all like "I dunno I just work here!" Like Can you check I actually showed up for a mystery followup once, and not even the provider knew why I was there. They literally checked my vitals, billed my insurance 5 billion dollars and let me leave. When I scheduled my first physical in many years, all the provider did was give me the roughest pap smear of my entire life and that was IT. So I guess if you don't have that kind of junk down there you're just walking in, waiting a few minutes and they're calling that a physical? Zero questions were asked about my health history. They will make you wait weeks, sometimes even MONTHS just to hear the results of simple bloodwork. I know the bar is so very very low in Fort Myers. No one has pride in anything they do. But pass on this one and keep on searching.

Never setting foot in this place again. Poor communication, poor bill tracking , strictly for profit. Here you’re just a time slot and a payment.

Long story short at one point I took a $200 blood test for no reason, and they refused me refills of medication because they didn’t want to do telehealth. This AFTER my doctor left the practice and no one called and told me.

Moved back into the area and called to have an injection of medicstion. Upon showing up they told me I have a balance and they put a $100 hold on my card. I go back into the room for the injection and the nurse declined to perform it because I haven’t been seen by their doctor in so long.

1) should have checked with the nurse before agreeing to perform the injection. The nurse didn’t even come in to talk to me face to face. Just said no and hid at her desk.
2) didn’t offer any solutions.
3) didn’t ask me if I had access to any blood or hormone tests , which I did.
4) didn’t even offer to schedule an appointment TO SEE a doctor in order for me to get the help I need.
5) no we’re sorry or anything…”just nope we can’t do it. Give us our money and leave” type of attitude.

That’s what bothers me the most. “Hey we can’t do your shot today. Let’s get you scheduled to see a doctor and then we can go from there”.

From a business standpoint it’s awful. They just lost a client. But they probably don’t care. Clearly I’m not important enough for anyone to offer a solution, or spend even more than a minute speaking with me.
