I was in a desperate search for a chiropractor to help with a problem with my neck that I did to myself while working out. At 40 years old I had never been to a chiropractor and did not have established care. I called a few offices in my area and Dr Brett’s office not only picked up immediately, they were able to get me in same day for a scan and adjustment. I was so impressed how quickly they were able to get me in and how quickly Dr Brett was able to start getting my body to feel better. My entire family now goes here including my husband and daughter. His practice truly creates a family atmosphere with even a playroom for kids. I never have to wait to be seen and they are always able to get me scheduled for the days and time I need. They know me by name when I walk in the door and his entire staff is always so friendly. I can’t believe I have waited this long to get chiropractic care, but I’m so glad I found Dr Brett and his office!

I Found Dr. Brett a while back when I was in extreme back pain ... He did a fix instantly ... And got me into a program for a longer term care. I have been going there now for a little over a month and wow ... what a difference this makes. I feel like my walking is totally different , my pain has healed and his advice and care has just made a huge difference. He is an amazing Doc with great energy and great care. I feel blessed that I found him and will keep going there even beyond the initial program ... I feel so good I want to keep it that way.

His rooms are very nicely setup and very clean, Brenda and Beth in the front are just so easy to work with. Super fun, friendly, flexible and so on the ball.

My baby started with Dr Brett at 5 weeks old for reflux and favoring one side. It’s only been 2-3 weeks and we’re seeing improvements in his sleep and how he is moving! He went from 1.5-3 hour stretches at night to 6-8 hour stretches! He isn’t waking up and choking on his spit up and it has been such a relief for me. I highly recommend and we will continue to come back here as we need. Everyone in the office is also always so sweet and welcoming.

Dr. Brett and his team are amazing! We have been seeing him for about a year and the results have been amazing. Our 6 mo old went from having daily/regular bowel movements to having one every 5-6 days. Along with the decreased bowel movements he was showing signs of GI discomfort such as back arching and not tolerating tummy time. Within a month of regular adjustments he is back to having several daily bowel movements, loving tummy time, and is overall a much happier baby. A major bonus for busy moms is that they are super flexible with appointment times!

I cannot recommend Dr. Brett and Life Family Chiropractic enough. The impact of Dr. Brett’s work with my newborn has been truly remarkable.

By about week 4 I knew something was off about my son, especially as a second time mom because my first son had none of these issues. He was constantly uncomfortable and fussy, and never calm or relaxed unless he was sleeping. It was even worse when he was more stimulated or in the car / car seat. I couldn’t set him down in a seat, swing, play mat, anything without him crying and seeming uncomfortable or in pain. Feeding was a struggle and he appeared to be in pain and/or have digestive trouble when feeding. I also noticed he wouldn’t turn his head to the right and had a really hard time lifting his head up at all for tummy time.

The pediatrician suggested it could be reflux, so they put him on reflux meds but nothing changed so I stopped the meds (not to mention that doesn’t address the limited head and neck range of motion) and they said he has “colic” and it would eventually go away. So I initially took him to Dr. Brett to help with the reflux, thinking that was most of the problem. What I quickly learned is that he did have some misalignment causing limited range of motion and his nervous system was extremely dysregulated causing him to be easily overstimulated, have trouble with sensory processing and digestive imbalance.

After even the first few adjustments with Dr. Brett I saw substantial improvements in my son. He could lift his head all the way up and turn it to both sides, he was calmer and able to do tummy time and developmental play activities, and had much less trouble feeding. After about 3 weeks now of seeing Dr. Brett my son is really starting to turn a corner. Prior to working with Dr. Brett he could not even sit outside and enjoy himself, even that was too overstimulating. Now, at 8 weeks, he can sit outside and enjoy looking at trees and flowers and feeling the breeze, engage in play and tummy time, and we’re finally able to just spend face to face time connecting with him - simple things you want your baby to be able to do to developmentally grow and learn. Chalking this all up to reflux or “colic” would not have solved his problems and limited his ability to thrive in these crucial first few months of life.

It can be extremely frustrating and heartbreaking not knowing what’s wrong with your baby and how to help them. I recommend an evaluation by Dr. Brett for any baby as Chiropractic care can get to the root of so many issues like the case with my baby!
