I had a fabulous experience at the MD Now Urgent Care in Fort Meyers… albeit a rather long wait. The front desk warriors could not have been more responsive and respectful along with being charming and just nice! The caregiver.. Lynieta Leisure,NP was excellent, professional, and again, extremely personable and competent…
It’s awful to be sick away from home, in a different state and far ones regular health care team. I’ve never had any occasion to use this type of facility before for myself… I have had to take a child or two for odd things at odd times, but never needed one myself, until today. I must admit, I had some trepidation, but was so genuinely impressed with the care delivery from this place @12375 S.Cleveland Ave, that my ‘thank you ‘ seems inadequate. Kudos to the bunch of them!! And, of course, thank you!

After finding out the location closest to me had their system "down", it took two days to reserve a spot at the next closest location. I was the very first person to register for the day and was supposed to be there to walk in at 8:20am and take my drug screen. They called me back 40 minutes later...there were only three other people in the lobby with me, none of them had an appointment earlier than I did and one was seen before me? The gals at the front desk were great but walking through their office, it seemed as though people were had their feet stuck in cement. My technician was also excellent, and very thorough, but what in the world would require a 45-minute wait to be seen when no one was there? No wonder they have a 3-hour wait the rest of the day if that is how they start.

I was very impressed with the scheduling process online. I got the first morning appt. The staff was sweet with great customer service. Ms. Leisure, NP was amazing, very informative and helped keep prescription costs down. I will definitely go back and request to see her again when needed.

Facility was very clean! Staff were very courteous and friendly! NP Lynieta Leisure was very thorough and informative with my exam. She came up with a treatment which I have started and am already feeling relief! We are from out of state and were unfamiliar with urgent care facilities in the area. MD Now Urgent Care turned out to be an excellent choice!

I needed wound care. NP Leisure and staff were great. She was friendly, engaging and informative, and when it was about to hurt (inevitable with this issue), she did not B.S. me. Her home care instructions were detailed, practical and clear, and she helped me out with some gauze and tape to hold me for a few days. Thank you NP Leisure.

Made an appointment online. Said I had a 12:15 appointment, then got a text saying they're ready for me now at 1155. Showed up at 12. It's 1:07 now and still waiting. Went to ask the front desk lady what the deal was...had to wait for her to get off her personal phone and stop eating her soup to answer my question. 2 walk ins with no appointment have been seen before me. I'm incredibly sick and wanted to avoid waiting hence the online appointment. Last time coming here. They seem to not care at all

The first provider we saw was nice and efficient but unfortunately didn’t correctly complete the physical form for my son the day we went in. The school caught it and I had to go back to have the PA complete the form and initial the changes made to the form. I returned to MD Now the next day and after waiting 5 minutes to even have someone come to the front desk, I was told that unfortunately the same provider wasn’t there so they could not help me without me bringing my son back in to be seen again. So I came back for the third time in 24 hours. We got taken back from the waiting room almost immediately but then waited for just under an hour to be seen, despite being told that it would “be really quick since we were already here.” Had they been honest and told me we were going to be treated like any other walk-in, I could’ve planned my evening accordingly instead of sitting at their location with 4 kids after a long day of work and school until 8:00 at night. If my son didn’t absolutely need the sports physical done before this weekend, I would’ve just scheduled with the PCP. At no point were we given any sort of apology or excuse for the inconvenience or their oversight- no customer service at all. God willing I won’t need to come back here for anything urgent.

I wish I’d have read reviews first! I picked the closest Urgent Care and saw that you could pre-register and get an appointment, so I thought “great!” I started filling out the forms online but purposely didn’t finish because I wasn’t quite ready to go out the door. Before I could finish getting ready, I got a text that I had an appointment in 10 minutes! I got there as quickly as I could and was still 9 minutes late. I was told no problem, it’ll be about 45 minutes. (Only 2 people waiting) After about 30 minutes and watching others come in and be called ahead of me. Finally, my name is called and I waited while the receptionist had a personal conversation on her cell phone—which was on speakerphone. She took my co-pay, then told me it would be another 30 minutes. Meanwhile, they took 2 more people. No one there seemed to be having a good day.
