The doctor that saw me was very holier than thou. I know my own body, I know when I have a sinus infection!! He tongue lashed me over it being a virus, not a bacteria, made me pay him $250 and sent me on my way with tamiflu.
Now, 5 days later, I still have my SINUS INFECTION and now an EAR infection that is so painful I can’t sleep. So I have to go find a DIFFERENT urgent care tomorrow and grovel for some actual medicine again.

To their credit it was fairly fast, the front desk staff was pleasant. Convenient location. I would go back for non sinus related illnesses.

Excellent care for what it is, compared to every other outfit in town. I’m generally pleased with the service and can say that they didn’t just tell me things I wanted to hear. Covid test was a bit aggressive but I think that’s just the nature of the test. Will come again.

Got FANTASTIC care here, and I'm so thankful. Friendly and compassionate staff and a very comfortable office. These folks sincerely care about their patients and it shows. The doctor was very kind and seemed very capable. He really took time and listened.
I was able to get x-rays, bloodwork and other labs, and IV fluids and felt better immediately. I'd probably still be waiting for care at a traditional emergency room. My husband was so impressed that he asked, "Can you do primary care?"

First time my wife was practically dying while pregnant. They fixed her up in less than a full afternoon. Cost practically nothing to boot. I went again just yesterday and they got my wife diagnosed quickly and medicine prescribed for only the cost of the co-pay.
This place was recommended to me by several nurses at the Women's Center of North Florida Hospital as the best and most capable urgent care center in Gainesville.

Everyone in the office is so incredibly nice and I felt so cared for. They were extremely thorough, fast, and efficient. Far better than any urgent care, they are more like a freestanding ER. Saved me a trip to the actual ER and got me exactly what I needed plus peace of mind

I was out of town and found myself needing to go to urgent care. I went to Emergency Physicians Medical Center and had an outstanding experience. I was in and out in under an hour, the entire staff was courteous, caring, and knowledgeable. It's never a good feeling to be sick away from home, but this Medical Center had me taken care and feeling better in no time.

I have been going to Emergency Physicians Medical Center for years. It is, hands down, the best urgent care alternative in the area. Dr. Yucht is obviously amazing and Dr. Collingham has been an incredible addition. Both have a bedside manner that fits each unique patient they see. They put everyone at ease. They have a sense of humor. They take care of you and help you take care of yourself, playing to your personality. My whole family always feels comfortable with them. I recommend them to everyone I know in real life. And they have a reduced payment scale for those who have insurance troubles. You're always a person at EPMC.
