Where to begin, I scheduled our appointments and was told not only on the first call, but every single text and call after to be sure I arrive at least 15 minutes prior to our appointment. This seemed pretty important since it was said over and over again. We showed up, early to find the door locked and they are out to lunch until my actual appointment time. We knocked because we were told to show up, that is when the most annoyed human emerged, Betsy. Betsy stuck her head out and said that we were told incorrectly and that they needed to eat lunch so we were turned away and their door locked again, it was very hot and me and the kids were told tough. So we waited for what seemed forever for them to be finished with their lunch, we get back to the door 1:32 (2 minutes after lunchtime was to be finished and now I’m late for the appointment) door still locked, we knocked and here comes Betsy to let us in. She clearly hates her job of dealing with people. She is the most unfriendly person. The doctor was nice and it’s unfortunate that she is working here. I don’t expect to be back to this office. The office was dirty, not well cleaned, the nurse for intake was rushing as if there were 30 people waiting- it was just my family.

They do not value you or your time.

We have been with this office since our oldest was born, and he’s now in high school. We started coming here when it was Dr. Mary’s Place, and we loved the continuity of care in seeing the same nurses and doctor every visit for each of our kids. Of course the practitioners have changed over more than a decade (we miss Dr. Mary and Ray!), but Betsy at the front desk has been a constant for the past few years and she is the main reason we have continued to stay with this office. She is always friendly and helpful—working with our busy schedules to make things easy and efficient, getting us in for last-minute appointments for urgent things, checking on and explaining insurance information when we have questions, and just generally going above and beyond for our family. This office has excellent clinicians (which is obviously what parents are looking for most in pediatric care) but Betsy really stands out and is the reason we keep coming back. I highly recommend this office to anyone looking for pediatric care; between Betsy and the providers, they really are the best all around.

Nocatee is the best location. Betsy is always so accommodating. Lana Smith is my favorite my kids love her and she is always helping me. Lynnea is so sweet ..we wouldn't go anywhere else!

No physicians at the Nocatee location. Not a problem if you prefer nurse practitioner care. The appointment scheduler will tell you that your child is scheduled with a “pediatrician” but it is a nurse practitioner. They don’t make it known so that you can decide if you prefer nurse practitioner care or medical doctor care.

This pediatrician office is by far one of the best! Staff and physicians are very helpful and kind, I would highly recommend! Betsy at the front desk is always so welcoming and ready to assist in any way possible.

Changing an appointment takes 30 minutes due to one specific staff member. They tell me my children’s insurance is inactive, which I already knew and told them about before attempting to rescheduling our appointment. Billing department is a nightmare and never calls back. But will be quick to bill me for something and harass me for money. VERY condescending staff that have spoken down to me and made me cry in the office. Made me feel like I am a horrible mother.

I’m so frustrated with North Florida Pediatrics as a whole. I do really love the doctors, but the office staff needs significant improvement in compassion and understanding.

I am crying writing this review because I am so frustrated with the staff here.

Also apparently they know who I am when I call because they don’t even ask for my child’s name anymore. Great, right? I feel as though I am as nice and understanding as I can be, but I have truly reached my limit with this office and the way I am treated.

We loved Dr. Mary, but the place has gone downhill since changing hands to north Florida Pediatrics. We’ve had two appointments where we clearly state the reason for the appointment at scheduling, only to be told they can’t help us at the visit. Also, they have no respect for the patients time and often run 45 minutes to 1 hour late for appointments. I’ve moved my family to another practice.
