If you value your family members that go to this facility, please read....We are early on in our experience here 3 weeks. Everything has moved so fast and my mother is a complex case, so there's been complications. I have currently waited 3 weeks for my first phone call back.

That was on the sep 20th. As of now the 23rd, I'm still waiting for a call back from the nurses to schedule my stage 3 mother's appointment. This is so unprofessional. My mother, these elderly are not just a number. There is no empathy in compassion.When you can't even return phone calls, or it's a problem to see the doctor!
I run my own company and if my customers called me and I didn't call back, I wouldn't have a job. I'm just wondering how you take care of the elderly like this. Most of the nurses where very kind, but they're not the doctors.

I have been getting treatment for quite a few years now and Dr. Vijay Patel is wonderful, I also want to note that you have an employee who is exceptional He works in the front registration Allen has over many years always gone above and beyond to assist me. You have a valuable employee who I hope is recognized for the exceptional job he does. Thank you for always taking the few extra minutes.

I spent 2 years taking my mom up for treatments. The infusion staff is excellent, but most support staff are not compassionate to the patients. You would never know they are dealing with people that are going through the worst time of the life. I have seen many elderly patients walk around with no direction. It's very sad to see. I wish I looked for a better center to care for my mom.

My dad was under the care of Dr. Gordan. He would see him maybe every couple of months, and other times it was a nurse. They made him wait for over a month to get on a clinical trial even though he had an aggressive cancer. They pushed him to get chemo even though his body was weak and vitals unstable. When he was hospitalized after his second chemo treatment and eventually passed away they didn’t even bother checking in or calling. They didn’t even notice he “disappeared” for a month.
Also, believe it or not but this cancer center has no social worker on staff (!) so forget about any kind of info regarding benefits, resources, care plan etc’. You have to push to get a referral to any kind of basic service like PT, nutrition or pain management (these were never offered or suggested, we had to ask for them and wait for days to get a referral)
I would think twice before recommending this place to a loved one. Unfortunately for us it’s too late.

Dr Nance Was good but the staff is not very poor communication. Want you to make an appointment just to answer a simple question will have to fine a new hematologist
