Dr Diaz and his staff are amazing! Called for an emergency visit for my small Shih Tzu. Everyone was friendly and accommodating from phone call to check out! Prices are very affordable and they were wonderful handling my dog and myself!

AVC is great. They work you in for emergencies and stuff. They give an itemized estimate for work/procedures before they move forward. They're nice and the office is clean. I feel their rates are really fair! Will keep going to AVC and will definitely continue recommending them!

I got Louie (black and white cat) his dental cleaning done here - places try to charge over $400 for that. AVC runs a lovely dental special twice a year. I got his cleaning done for $200.

Rusty (my dog) had his neuter with them for $350 (which is below most estimates I got), and he came back without complications. His incision came out clean and neat with no scarring, and he was really only out of commission for a week.

My darling 13 year old cat who I have had since she was a kitten became ill recently. Dr. Hart and vet tech Kelly provided OUTSTANDING service to both me and my cat. My kitty is now on the road to recovery and I cannot say enough about the kindness of both Kelly and Dr. Hart with everything from discussing options to evaluating her quality of life to using financial resources wisely in this situation. Kelly especially was an absolute gem - when I started to cry because I realized my options were continued testing or euthanasia, Kelly quickly retrieved some tissues and said “let’s talk,” and together we talked through options and she helped me come to a decision (further bloodwork) that I cannot be more glad I made. Thank you, Dr. Hart, and thank you, Kelly, for making one of the worst days of my life more bearable and treating us with empathy. You guys are the best!!

I had a great experience with AVC today. Initially I was accidentally overcharged and it wasn’t caught right away, so I left feeling disappointed. However, they caught the mistake (a computer issue that they have resolved) and refunded me the difference and called twice to thank me for understanding and patience. The staff is always friendly and good with our difficult dog so I’m glad they were able to make this right and come out the most affordable vet experience around!

This place has always taken care of our dogs and cat with a patient and gentle approach. Our dogs weigh less than 7 pounds each, and the eldest is 14 years old with a delicate nature, so we appreciate the extra care that the staff takes when we bring him in. We’re glad to report that all 3 of our kids are very healthy and happy with the services they’ve received at Animal Vet Clinic for the last 7 years in Newberry. This veterinary office will always be their primary care location.

Side note; the addition of their new app was genius!! It’s so nice to be able to schedule and track appointments, and chat with the clinic’s staff in real time! (no more phone tag). Thank you AVC Team!!!! Here’s to a healthy and safe 2025, cheers! 😀

The professionals at this clinic always provide great care to both of my cats. They want to make them as comfortable and at ease as possible. One of my cats is having some issues and had an accident in his crate while traveling there recently. They got him and his crate all cleaned up so he could have a comfy and safe way home. My cats have seen multiple different doctors and they’ve all been great with the kitties and great at explaining things to me when presenting new info. Appointments are also very easy to book and it’s easy to find one on short notice.

I have to say that AVC is the best best best best and reasonably priced! They are so good with my babies! I trust them so much! They will tell you exactly what’s going on. Give you a written estimate to show you what you will be paying for and you can choose to do it all on what you can afford. Glady was my tech and she was articulate, kind and knew her stuff to a T! She was loving with my babies and was so detailed of what was going on, that I had no questions! She’s very professional, but yet very down to earth and so kind. Also, Dr Voss has seen my babies numerous times and cured everything we came in for, everytime! She is a fabulous doctor who truly loves animals and knows her stuff! She’s not pushy about paying for things that aren’t necessary, but will tell you up front what should be done. She never rushes and is very thorough. I hade been so pleased and happy at AVC. They are all so kind and nice and it’s like one big family in there. I’m so happy I was recommended to them!
