Rudest staff Iโ€™ve ever come across! They do not help you contact your loved ones. They hang up in your face and mumble to the other staff members rude things while youโ€™re on the phone. Do not send your loved ones here! My mother came out covered in 20+ bruises and they literally PUSHED her out the door. Lawyers have been contacted! STAY AWAY!!!!

This place deserves ZERO stars and deserves to lose their license! DO NOT put your family or any loved one in this facility! It is like a prison! The staff is all rude, and the facility is dirty and disgusting. I donโ€™t see how they can even be in business. My sister was just put in this place involuntarily due to depression and suicidal thoughts of harming herself. They treated her like a criminal. For people who are struggling mentally and in crisis, this place just makes it 10 times worse. The staff is rude to patients and make fun of them. Very unprofessional! They wonโ€™t give you toiletries for hygiene if you ask. The overall place is filthy and has dirt and pee on the floors. They make you walk around in socks that stick to the floor. They leave the bright lights on 24/7 and make you sleep in the light. You have to share a room with a complete stranger. You can hear staff talking and laughing all night long. I am turning this facility into the Florida Board of Health. This place needs to be investigated not only for the way they treat their patients, but also for how dirty the overall facility is. They are supposed to be a crisis center and they are the furthest thing from that. Shame on you Salus Care!

Horrible is too nice!!!! Awful food, staff does not have any clothes so if your loved one messes themselves they will just have to live with it. The staff is super nice but the rest is deplorable!!!!!!

First of all, they treat you like criminals....
I was here under full charges. Have a breathing machine at night that I need to sleep and they couldn't get it for me. Wish I had a camera so I could see how they treat the people expose. Rooms are not up to the date. There's flooding just completely in different rooms. Worst place to get help they don't give care. Maybe or 2 people care rather then your just whatever Someone seriously need to go undercover. Expose everything. So of these people can't speak for them self. I'm not like them and notice things. Sad .... Have staff with empathy? And that actually care that might help? Just a start. Oh not to mention when I was in there. This lady was yelling Richard for late 8 hours. Could not sleep horroy experience. My pictures I drew with crayons how I felt..dark.

Unfortunately this will be my second terrible review, but I want the public to see the truth and how this facility treats their patients.
Long story short, I live in Immokalee FL and work as a teacher, so all of my quarterly visits with my psychiatrist are via zoom.
I am currently taking two antidepressants thanks to Dr. Whitney for prescribing them to me.That being said, I wanted to go over the dosage on my prescription and unfortunately I was told that I missed an appointment with my psychiatrist last November, mind you I was not informed about it and now she is now on maternity leave. The receptionist told me that I will have to wait for her to return to arrange an appointment with her.
I explained to the receptionist that I had never been informed about the missed appointment, she then said there was nothing she could do, whenI asked if there was any chance of someone else seeing me as she was not working being that they had allowed someone to see me in the past when I was unable to schedule with her, she then stated that I could come in without an appointment, but she didn't know for sure if I would be seen and if I did happen to be seen she didn't know how long I would have to wait to be seen .
I then told her that I would at least like to have my prescription refilled while she was out, as the side effects of coming off these pills were significant and I would hate to have to withdraw from them again but She continued to tell me there was nothing she could do.
I say all of this to say that if this matter is not handled properly, my attorneys will have to deal with this company.
It's crazy that I'm being treated like this when last time, when I couldn't reach my psychiatrist, I was able to talk to a nurse who was at least able to refill my prescription so that I wouldn't have to deal with withdrawing.

If you're looking for a place to "heal" or "recover" from a mental health issue - this is not the place for you or your loved one.. this is a *crisis center* for people who experience severe mental health issues, this is where the county sends the homeless, this is where the cops bring you if you cannot be controlled.. there are other places to send someone if they need help, but this place is the "strap you to the bed" kind of help.. not the snacks and art therapy kind of help.
They have art.. crayons and a small library of books if your lucky enough to be on the good side of the building - on the bad side you get to stare at the wall, sleep, or watch mindless cable TV all day, way too loud.
The lights never turn off.
The beds are a piece of square wood and a gym mat.
You allowed one blanket and instead of a tooth brush you get a "finger brush" (mind flavored sandpaper in the form of your finger), one washcloth, and the soap/shampoo comes from a wall dispenser.
You get hospital food and decaf coffee (only in the morning), juice in minature box.
If you're nice to the staff you can ask for luxury items like conditioner, lotion, wipes to clean off the seats in the dining area that sometimes get covered in pee..
The facility is OLD - like 40 years old probably, and it shows. The permanent dirt line along the edge of every single wall, and mildew in the showers.
Some of the showers spray out onto the slippery all tile bathroom floor and it floods the whole bathroom because neither the shower or the floor drain works..
Deodorant comes in a wipe. Toothpaste comes in a plastic pouch or not at all.. you get one of those 10 cent combs.. and all of that is just to make yourself feel semi human amongst 20 or so people who aren't even wearing anything under their hospital dress because they're not coherent enough to even ask for their clothes..
You're usually in and out in 72 hours (thankfully, because that other nicer place can hold you indefinitely..) sometimes sooner if there's no real reason to keep you there. You're given medication, a fast and severe diagnosis, and you're sent on your way.. usually with a pile of paperwork for you to make your own appointment for outpatient care and no follow up. Out the door with an all day bus pass, still wearing your neutral colored grippy socks, or they might arrange pickup with your family (who then has to legally sign you out) - which takes hours..
The staff is overwhelmed and extremely under paid. The facility is under funded compared to their large Evans Avenue campus. The facilities are outdated, unstable, unsuitable, deteriorating and depressing. There's no outdoor area. The phone is just an old payphone attached to the wall, you have access to a water fountain, and rarely get snacks or tea - I've seen facilities in smaller cities with multiple stories, access to cordless phones, places to sit, private rooms (not shared with a stranger who is also in crisis), free coffee/tea any time, and clean - large - outdoor areas with smoking sections. This facility is all lee county has, as it is more like a punishment than a hospital.

I would not even give them a one star review but you have to give something. That place is so horrible and nasty and do not ever recommend anyone to put some they love in that place. They do not give you enough to drink came out very dehydrated and had to spend the next 3 days in the hospital getting rehydrated. A very horrible place to be and smelles to horrible to make you vomit. If you love someone you would not place them in there. This place should be shut down.
