Front Desk was wonderful but I did not have the best experience with Dr. Ashlee Amparan DO. I had a child psychiatrist who treated me for years who was retiring and recommended for me to seek new physician. I had an initial visit with Dr. Ashlee Amparan DO. Unfortunately, upon my explanation of my prior trauma and diagnosis, she immediately told me that my prior psychiatrist's diagnosis made 15 years earlier was wrong (Bipolar disorder) and that it was impossible for me to have bipolar if my manic symptoms did not last more than 7 days. I explained that I have gone through both medication treatment and talk therapies for over 15 years to address my diagnosis that has been proven effective which is why unlike most people I have a support group and have trained myself to note the symptoms before I spiral past a 3 day mark. She said well she just graduated medical school and per her textbook it has to be 7 days. At this point I realized it didn't matter to her what my prior treating physician said or what I said, that she thought I was self diagnosing. I just asked her what can she do to help me currently in my depression and she recommended an anti-seizure medication. I took her prescription called me old doctor who immediately told me to find another psychiatrist and not to take the medication she prescribed. Maybe she is great with other patients but I had a bad experience.

My NP Jermilla Augustin has been supportive, understanding, and very thorough with me. It’s such a great thing when the psychiatry team helps their patient in a way that feels safe; never feeling uncertain or doubtful.

Decent psychiatry, but communication is lacking. I have had multiple issues with a lack of communication with the office and practitioners. From showing up to an appointment where the acupuncturist didn’t show up and everyone was working from home, to requesting a call from my doctor for three weeks to respond to a concern regarding my new medication. The services themselves when they happen have been pretty decent, though I did choose this practice for the integrative services they advertise and never received any integrative treatment, just regular psychiatric prescriptions. I have chosen to no longer use this provider.

Dr La Noce is hands down the best psychiatrist I’ve ever had in my entire life. I’ve gone through many psychiatrist and also many therapist and I feel that she is the most intuitive, she listens, she’s extremely patient and makes me feel that I can share what I need to freely with her. Medication and I have never seen eye to eye lol and in the first time in my life I actually feel like I’m seeing progress within my mental state. Highly recommend 100/100!
