Friendly, informative staff in Vital Records. They kindly gave me the numbers I needed to call for our business with them. Then I left my phone there! It hadn't budged from the waiting area right in front of everyone, when I had to return for it.

I went to the vital statistics area (room 101) to obtain a death certificate ($15.00 & $6.00 for each additional). There was a crowd, but the process went quickly for me (I printed and filled out the forms before I arrived. They do have the form there as well. Staff are very friendly and approachable.

Came for my yellow fever vaccine to travel and I’m glad I found this place. Very kind staff. I was seen immediately and the full process took less than 30 min.

This has to be the worst Public health service provider in the country.

Need emergency help with an environmental attack of flies at my resident. The black lady, who refused to give me her name, was rude, non informative and had the worst attitude.

Now I will have to seek help and information from the next state over.

I can't get in touch with the administration here in Birmingham @ the public health department.

This is sad and pathetic.

A nurse named Tameka in the specialty clinic was very helpful on the phone when i called to make an appointment, and even more helpful at my appointment. She was very knowledgeable and took her time to answer all my questions and concerns.

I assisted a young man in obtaining a birth certificate amid housing displacement. The health department staff went above and beyond to assist us. Their professionalism and dedication were truly impressive, and I commend Jefferson County for their dignity and humanity throughout the process. Bravo!
