Had a great experience at The Eye Centers of Florida in N. Fort Myers today. I think it was the best eye care exam I've ever really had. The nurse that cared for my eye exam explained every thing she was doing and when flipping the lenses for a more clearer lens, she did it at a pace that I actually had time to say my answers with more precision and confidence. Usually they flip them so fast I would second guess my answers. The eye drops this time, seemed less invasive too, I actually could see after leaving my appointment. The doctor was new but I felt confident with what to do with my dry eye watering problem and look forward to trying out new contact lenses at my next visit.

I love coming to this office! The employees are professional, sweet , courteous and accommodating. Their selection of lenses are amazing and stylish and the office is extremely clean along with the bathroom. Thank you to those at the office for helping me at my appointment!

I gave them 5 stars and only because the staff was very good and professional. I would say that they do not do a very good job with the schedule. My appointment was for 1:55 and I was not seen until 2:25 approximately. This is my only complaint. I hope you will all do better in the future.

The only reason I gave a 2 star is because the doctor was so nice and very informative. Otherwise, the appointments were both later than the actual scheduled time. I can't even get in contact with the office directly, I have to call a main operator to take a message to have the office call me back. I'm trying to finalize my prescription for my contact lenses, which I had to wait over a month for the samples to come in. When I went to the office, the receptionist couldn't help me because the optical person was not there. I finally was able to get the samples and the assistant asked me to try them over the weekend and call on Monday 1/6 to advise if I wanted to finalize my prescription or if I needed to discuss any issues. I called several times and left a couple of messages. I called again today and the one lady that answered the phone attempted to transfer me to the actual office, which had me on hold and then the call ended. Definitely will be seeking another provider since I can't even get anyone on the phone to discuss my concerns.

ECOF in North Fort Myers does not care about their patients. I scheduled an appointment for my daughter only to be told by the front desk woman on the day of the appointment that they don’t accept my insurance. She was flippant and did not care at all and had no intention of trying to help until I asked for a supervisor. By the time we learned they DO, in fact, accept my insurance, the doctor had to leave and we lost the appointment slot. Again, the woman at the front desk did not care, she didn’t even apologize. Avoid this place at all costs, they don’t care about you at all.

This was my first time here and the entire staff was very friendly and helpful. Dr. Longa was very friendly and knowledgeable. I was able to pick out a new pair of glasses to be ordered . I would definitely recommend them.

Dr. Longa saw me after my kitten scratched the cornea of my eye. I was in terrible pain and could not open my eye. Dr Longa administered pain relieving drops and put a "contact Band-Aid" on my eye. I was immediately free of pain! I followed her instructions for the next two weeks, and the eye healed. I am impressed by her knowledge, compassion, and kindness. I highly recommend Dr. Longa for any eye problems you may encounter.
