I love Dr. Balbis after moving from Lakeland ,Fl. I had a hard time finding a good Dr. I could trust. I was referred to him from a client of mine about 10 yrs ago . I was so blessed to have found him. He takes time to explain things and asks if you have any questions or concerns he is on top of your blood work and medications. Hes very professional and yet personable. He is top notch.

Dr. Balbis is very thorough and accommodating! I had a very hard time finding a primary care physician after transitioning from the military and dealing with the VA is just chaos. Dr. Balbis is very informative, made sure I understood everything from my visit, his recommendations for my specialist were absolutely phenomenal and fit my needs. I can call the office at any time and if I am unable to get in with his that day, they find a nurse practitioner that can better accommodate my schedule. From check in, to being seen by his medical assistant Tracey before he enters the room, to check out, the employees are amazing and truly care about their patients. I will be recommending to more of my veteran friends!!

It's impossible to get in to see in anyone, as Balbis keeps taking new patients and foisting them off on his NP. Brandi has lied to me on more than one occasion, and was disrespectful in almost every interaction after I had problems. Balbis himself is oddly obsessed with my weight when I didn't see him for any weight related problems. The entire staff seems incompetent except for Nurse Traci.

For reasons beyond me, they refused to suddenly fill one of my psychiatric medicines leaving me in withdrawal. They tried to send me to another department for those medicines, but gave me the wrong instructions for contacting the department. Then I was informed Balbis' office had straight up transferred me to the wrong department, and that Balbis' office never returned the call from the wrong department.

Trying to get a medication refill can take up to a week and you're lucky if you're on hold for less than ten minutes. I have literally left the office in tears on at least two occasions. And good luck getting Simed to help you- I filed a complaint and never got a single word in response. Go somewhere else.

Exceptional character and integrity, the highest of recommendation for Dr Balbis. I have Dystonia, a dibilitating movement disorder with a new lease on life thanks to the man, Robert Balbis. I have found it is not the plan of treatment that begets forward momentum in the healing/recovery process but instead the listening by your physician that enables continuity between the healer and the afflicted. The team mentality is an overwhelming success with Dr Balbis in the drivers seat. I am so very grateful to have crossed paths with him. Effective communication is key here. Thank you!!

Love Dr Balbis. He listens and is very approachable. He gently suggested my husband lose weight and suggested a health coach who might help ( this was several years ago). The change in diet and weight loss was a game changer for him. Dr Balbis encourages patients to take charge of their health through diet and exercise. He also has a nickname for my husband...ZZ Top.

Balbis is rude and disrespectful! I highly recommend that you find a doctor that can actually help because sadly this guy can't, he has very little knowledge and therefore wastes time worrying about thing that aren't the problem. It would be a disgrace to all doctors everywhere to consider him one. He's a sad, pathetic joke of a man.
