First time I went a year ago I had a great experience but I just went to my one year old re application for WIC. I’ll edit this once I call tomorrow for a name.. but she was some Cuban or Spanish older lady. Her office in the first office when you go around the corner once they call your name. She was HORRIBLEEEE. she was so judgmental towards me and my husband giving us
Nasty looks as if we didn’t know what we were doing. She was super unprofessional and I really hope she changes her way with the next person she interviews.

Called twice today about my appointment call and they told me they would call me before 5pm to renew my wic benefits and they never did. Keep in mind the last time I called was at 4:20. So I lost my benefits until I can make another appointment. I’m completely livid. They’re looking for someone to really cuss them out cause they’re really playing

Let me start off with, Leigh High Acres WIC nutritionist is horrible/horrific. I’ve gone too many times, and each time is the same with the nutritionist.

I came here, to this location, this morning for my son’s 0730 appointment and they were able to accommodate myself and my daughter. We needed to re-enter in the system and since I had my kids there already, they helped me out enormously.

Let me tell you, I had a blow out with my kids right before the appointment. With the kind receptionist this morning at that time, along with the staff and Nutritionist we saw, (THANK YOU SO MUCH!!) I forgot your name, but I was so overwhelmed that you made the appointment not so overwhelming.

And I was able to express everything I needed during our appointment.

Ladies, Women… it doesn’t hurt to be sympathetically and empathetic. We are all in need which is why we are at WIC. Stay kind.

Long wait times over the phone. For working mothers, it's a huge inconvenience to not be able to schedule an appointment time. You must be available all day to answer their call. If you don't answer, you have to actually go into the office to renew your benefits. They truly do not care about members' experience.

If you make an appointment at 9am you won’t be seen for an hour and a half. No sense of urgency, we have a newborn and everybody in this place including kids are just coughing and we’re stuck just sitting here while they’re getting my baby sick. Zero consideration for the clients it seems. If I physically didn’t have to do this step I wouldn’t.

Throughout my experience with the WIC office at Pondella I’ve never had a negative encounter. Even when we relocated from our previous home city. The staff has always been friendly, helpful and as a team they coordinate very well. Thank you guys for all of your hard work and effort to keep the the ball in Motion. Even through the pandemic there was no issues with appointments or benefits being reloaded.
Addition to great customer service your office is always very clean. Thanks again for your hard work.
