Very torn. Dr Aziz is an awesome and thorough doctor. I’ve really enjoyed her as a doctor my rating is not directed at Dr Aziz but more or so at the front office staff or lack there of. I have been a patient of her office for a few years now. But the last three visits I’ve had or have attempted to have have been unsuccessful. I’ve left multiple voicemails or have called early in the morning and no one returns my phone call. And I’m convinced they are avoiding my call just to request an appointment. My mother called and miraculously they answer her call and refer to her by name. Sad to part ways with Dr. Aziz but what good is it to have her as a doctor when I have better luck receiving a call back or being seen by a minute clinic or centra care.

This is a review on Dr. Aziz and not her office staff. The doctor knows her stuff and takes time to ask questions and explain recommendations. She has never pushed be to take medication that I may question. I find her very personable and professional. I rarely wait more than 10 minutes for my appointment. I have found the office staff friendly and efficient. As another reviewer mentioned you do have to go through Advent to make appointments.

Gives me the time I need, answers all my questions. I feel she cares. I feel she is knowledgeable. What more could I ask for? Have only done virtual visits, and have never waited excessively. Office staff are pleasant.

Update: Had in-office visit - everyone was absolutely wonderful, met and well-exceeded my expectations.

Awful office staff. I made an appointment online. They called me LITERALLY on my way to that appointment to tell me my appointment was canceled because they weren’t scheduling new patients until several months from now. Not sure why I was able to schedule a “new patient” appointment online, or why they couldn’t have contacted me sooner than 30 minutes before my scheduled appointment. I already took time off! Super unorganized and inconsiderate. Definitely not who I want handling my care.

As a new resident here, the doctor is very kind and helpful. This review is not towards her but rather her office; in particular her rude abrasive cold-mannered nurse. She is abrupt and short; not kind AT ALL. Your office will lose patients because of her. I will be transferring all four of our records from this office BECAUSE OF HER and do not recommend this office. In addition, the doctors policy sadly is unagreeable; I cannot make constant follow-up appointments and dish out my co-pay when things can be discussed with a quick phone call. Very different from what I'm used to; either way your nurses' bedside manner is uncalled for!

I was given 11 pages of paper work to fill out a few weeks ago from this doctor's office to become a new patient. The doctor's receptionist told me that the office would not schedule an appointment for me until they received medical records from my previous doctor. After filling out all the paper work I waited. Over the course of time I revisited the office 3 times to see if my old records had been received. I was told no the first time, the second time I was told that they had made 2 more requests for my records and right now they were just waiting. The 3rd time I went into the doctors office I asked again if any of records had been sent over to their office yet? The receptionist looked and replied no. I asked her how long would they actually wait to schedule me an appointment if they never received my records from the other doctors office. The receptionist replied, that is our policy. I then informed her that I had changed my mind and would not be coming to their office after all. I asked for the 11 pages of my personal information back that I had given to her a couple weeks prior. The receptionist replied no! She said that all my information now belonged to their office. I told her that I would like all my personal information back. I said that it had my social on it and all my medical history and many other personal things. She replied NO! I then asked for the information to be shredded since I will not be coming to their office, so she threw it in an open trash can by the desk. I again informed the receptionist that I wanted my information to be shredded and she replied, "It will be done in the evening." I said to her if you are refusing to give me back my information then I want to see it shredded. She took it from the trash and called for another person. She then stuck her hand out of the doorway and handed it to someone else. I told her I would like to see my information shredded for myself. She said," No! No one can come back here." I asked to speak with the doctor about the receptionists' refusal to give me back my own personal information that I had filled out. She said, "No the doctor is busy." I told her that I would be contacting the Better Business Bureau about this matter and she said go ahead. This was a very unrestful experience for me. To think that your own information does not belong to you is scary.

Dr Aziz is an amazing Dr. I Love her and have been going to her since she opened in Victoria Park, as far as her front Desk, they are very unprofessional and do not get back in touch with you, and one girl in my opinion was rude!!!!! I had an appointment this morning and also had my card and they insisted i did not have an appointment, even though the card said I did, long story short, I hate to change my Dr. due to lack of professionalism at the front desk......only reason there is one star is so I could post!!!!! Not a happy camper!!!

It took months to get through to get an appointment (you shouldn't have to leave a message every time you call), but once in, it was totally worth it. Dr Aziz is very thorough and makes sure all of your meds are necessary, working and not doing more harm than good. I've only been a patient for about 6 months, but very impressed with her bedside manner.
