I wanted to take a moment to recommend my exceptional primary care MDVIP physician, Dr. Alicia Coker. (On Time Medical)
The practice is located in the Infinity building in Brickell next to the Dua/SLS building.
MDVIP is a membership program that provides concierge medical services. Membership includes same day or next day appointments along with 24/7 direct access to the doctor via her mobile phone for urgent matters. The membership also includes in depth annual physicals/wellness plans that go well beyond what is offered in a standard primary care practice. On average a primary care physician will have 2,500 + patients. As part of the MDVIP model, Dr. Coker’s practice has a threshold of 300 patients. This insures easy access and in depth appointments that are not rushed.
I have been a member of the MDVIP network since the mid 2000’s while living in both Houston and NYC. The program has been an integral part of my life supporting my wellness and any medical needs. As a frequent traveler this has been a great fit for my lifestyle. Please note that I have no business affiliation with the practice or MDVIP. This place has been great and feels very patient forward as long as you show up on time. Recently changed to them as my PCP and very happy i did. No waiting, and Dr. Coker gives you her full attention, explaining everything in detail and listening without rushing you when you have any questions or context you want to give them. They're also cognizant of what they are doing so you don't get charged out of pocket.
