I can honestly say- I hate this place. They only care about payments. (Refuse to be courteous of appointment changes or emergencies) Not about patients getting better. I had serious worries that my medications were having negative effects and they said i have to adjust. refused to change it. gained 80 pounds in three months and still refused to change it. my doctor did not get along with me and i requested a change, and they also refused. Asked what to do if i don’t see an uptick in my disorder, and they said to kick it to the mental hospital and take a week or few stay. Isn’t the purpose of treatment is to avoid that extreme? I’ve been medicated since 2015 and this was the first time I had a downward spiral on medication. Been under a different office care since august and still haven’t recovered from the experience I had here. If you are suffering from a disorder and not just a period of depression/stress/grief/anxiety … this is not the place!!

I love my therapist here and will continue to see her, however this office is no beuno. There’s constant mix ups on dates, which is completely inconvenient with people with stern schedules. Sometimes they take the insurance co-pay same day as your appointment, but sometimes they don’t which is confusing and you can’t ever know what to expect so you can’t ever come fully prepared. The co-pay also switches which has never happened to me before with any other office which leads me to believe they’re simply out for money, which wouldn’t shock me after I read some of the reviews. Again, the therapist I’m seeing here is absolutely phenomenal so far but I’m highly considering switching psychiatrists so I can get the care I need without the constant confusion.

Although I enjoyed my therapist at this facility, I don’t agree with the way the business conducts itself. I arrived at the desk to check in at 8:10 with an 8AM appointment, and yes, I was at the end of the grace period, but I was still within the allotted time. After the death of two of my friends, I really needed this session. After taking my $10 co-pay, which I paid with card so it took the receptionist a moment to type it in, I was informed a few minutes later that I missed my appointment grace period and will need to reschedule to which I asked if I would be charged the $75 fee. The receptionist told me she wasn’t sure, but there was a good possibility. I have been to many therapists and typically there is a longer grace period or you can just use whatever time you have left in the session to meet with your therapist, however, this business does not conduct itself in that way. Life happens unfortunately and I would hope that during the holidays with mental health being at it’s lowest and in the business of helping people through rough situations a business focused on providing this service to its customers would at least see you for whatever time you had left in your hour. I would not suggest coming here for your mental health needs if you are looking for real mental health support as this business seems to care more about what goes into their pocket than the people seeking help.

Overall, the facility was nice. However, I encountered an issue when I started experiencing chest pains and had to go to the hospital four hours before my scheduled appointment. I called the office to inform them that I was on my way to the ER, and they acknowledged it. Despite this, they still sent me a bill for a missed appointment. In situations like this, there needs to be a sense of moral consideration. To me, this felt unethical, so I decided not to return.

I concur, the worst care I have even received. I don’t know why Tricare and the Mayport clinic continue to refer Sailors and dependents to this place despite several IG reports.

This care facility don’t care about their patients, they only care about their money and billing and to minimized and lie about their patients concerns and mental health symptoms.

If you looking to get a 0% rating, go and let them treat you, they’ll take care of you.

I have been seen here for the last 9 months and I have had ups and downs due to my situation but the one thing I am grateful for is the amazing people at this clinic. At times I feel alone and deserted but Doctor Joe and Ken are my providers at the moment and are incredible providers. I have had other providers here and they all have been fantastic. Everyone here has made me felt welcome, heard, and seen. Be patient with them as care and recovery takes time for anything. I would refer anybody here. I greatly appreciate all they’ve done for me and are continuing to do. I always feel better leaving this place.

( Update) again and again Active duty and VA folks, avoid this place like the plague. They don’t report accurate diagnosis and downplay led my symptoms.

Also, refuse to provide my report, I had to go to another mental health clinic the one in Atlantic beach close to Jax beaches and have them fax a freedom of information request to get my own records because my request were ignored despite how many times I signed it in front of them at their office.

They schedule appointments after medications lapses and don’t follow up with care, causing patients to go into withdrawal due to dependency.

Just like many here have commented, they just care about their billing and making money.

I received the most inaccurate and inconsistent report I ever seen.

Like the plague bro, avoid them like the plague.

Julian at the front desk was a day of sunshine! I was able to speak to my therapist openly and not hold back. It was only my first session so you need to get my thoughts when I’ve worked with my therapist longer. I’m hoping for a good outcome with Pacifica Care. So far so good! Catch you on the other side!
