I have been a patient here for 2 years. For the first time today, I really needed Dr Owens to get a prescription for a lab sample after 4 days of diarrhea. She and the nurse could not even get a prescription sent out in 8 hours of work time today so I could start the process. Note I didn’t say I needed an appointment because they were too busy to see me today. I just wanted them to allow me to go to Walgreens to pick up a packet to get a sample submitted. After 2 years I thought they could at least do that. I will be leaving this practice because they only have time for well patients not sick ones.

I had to wait for a month for a appointment. I told them I had to see Kristy Kay 4 months straight up front. Now she put me on the weightloss shot. Made me sick. Tried to get in no return calls or couldn't see another Dr. Didn't even get my appointment for the 4months. Well come to find out she was not going to be back in the office till after January. Can't see her till March. This is uncalled for and poor management.

Very disappointed. I'm never able to get anyone on the phone. Just called 5 times and all I got was ringing. When I used to call, I would be put in a que until someone answered. However, now when I call, all it does is ring. Even when I press the number to leave a message with my provider, all it does is ring. It doesn't even put me through to a voicemail. Also, Walgreens has sent a prior authorization over to them twice to send to my insurance company, and they still haven't sent it back. Love my doctor, but very disappointed in the practice.

Waited 2 months for first appointment with Jennifer Sidman. On arrival was told by front office that she did not want to see me since she was leaving in a years time, she didn’t want me to get comfortable with her since she was leaving. I asked why no one notified me, was told they left a message on my phone. My phone works great. No message.

I wish I could leave zero stars. I called to establish a primary care and do a routine check up and preventative care. I expressed my desire to have blood work done to establish a baseline as I have never had blood work done before. Dr. Sidman spent five minutes with a stethoscope and then asked if there was anything else before I leave. I told Dr. Sidman that I wanted to have blood work done and before I could even finish the sentence, she interrupted me in a rude tone and said why. She then proceeded to tell me that she does not perform bloodwork on young healthy people at all, even if they request it. When I asked her why the front desk told me I could have lab work done and that they have a lab in-house, she told me they’re just clerks and she is the doctor so it’s her decision. When I asked if there was another doctor at the same facility that would do blood work for me she proceeded to say she wont speak for other doctors and that she is retiring in a few weeks and they’re not transferring patients so I should just go to a lab and pay cash. She would not answer any other questions and directed me to leave. She is a disgrace to all doctors and there is no excuse as to why the office would tell me I could have bloodwork done and then schedule me for an appointment with a doctor who refuses to order bloodwork. They don’t have their patients best interests in mind and only wanted me to come in to make a profit. Only come here if you want your concerns to be disregarded, have your time wasted, and be seen simply as a dollar sign.

They don't answer phone. You can't leave a message, when you finally do get through they don't return call. Gore an appointment finally and then they canceled it without telling me not to come in. And now after being with the practice 3 years they tell me to go somewhere else because my nurse practiser is no longer there and no one is taking new patients in the practice.

Came in for my first appointment to see Dr. Jennifer Owen. Waited almost 2 months for this appointment just to get there on time, fill out the paperwork in 5 minutes then as soon as I handed the paperwork the receptionist said the doctor said I need to reschedule because I was “late”. I asked for a better explanation because I got there 9:43am for my 9:45am appointment. The receptionist could not answer so she got another rep. The other rep said that I needed to be there 30 PRIOR to my appt to be seen so the Dr did not want to see me. I expressed that this was my first appointment & was never told this when scheduled. The answer I got was: “I’m just a messaged, the doctor can’t see you since she has a full schedule”. Frustrated, I surrendered to be rescheduled however they only had the next appointment 1.5months out. I rejected and switched to another PCP. After all, aside from their disrespect of peoples time, they are so hard to get in contact with (for me to schedule an appointment it took multiple tries calling for them to pick up their phone). Lazy doctors with horrible customer service who claim to have “too much on schedule” so they will just cancel you on the spot. Do better

My boyfriend has been trying to find a primary care doctor in Gainesville for over a year and this is not even the first time something like this has happened, but he made an appointment with Diane Day over 3 months ago. The appointment was supposed to be next week and only a few days ago he got a call that his appointment was cancelled because she is no longer accepting new patients. He is not a new patient if he already has an appointment! This is so insanely unprofessional and unacceptable. So now he has to find another doctor that is accepting new patients and wait likely another few months when he’s already been waiting months and months and his care has been delayed so long. Don’t go to this practice unless you want to wait months for an appointment only to have it cancelled at the last minute.
