I had to go to First Choice last week for respiratory issues. I actually got in and out fairly quickly. I was surprised. They gave me a follow up appointment for today at 3pm. I arrived a bit early as I always do and there were a few people waiting. Those people eventually were seen and some others had arrived. After the original people were seen, the walk ins started to be seen while I still waited. At 4:10 I gave up and left. The girl at the front desk couldn’t have cared less and did not even offer an apology. She didn’t have a clue what she was doing. As a matter of fact, when I walked in there was no one at the front desk and for almost a half hour there was no one there. While the PA here is nice and seems very competent, they have a major issue with how they serve their patients. This urgent care is going to cause someone to die with the way they do business. I will ever go there again.

We arrived first thing in the morning. There was only one person ahead of us. I paid my copay and waited. After waiting for an hour and a half I asked how much longer it would be. I was told once they got a room cleaned I could go back. Another 30 minutes go by and nothing. My husband and I asked for a refund on our copay and left. Ridiculous waiting time and for no obvious reason. Also, the lady who went in ahead of us was still in the back. Apparently they just don’t know how to run an urgent care. They’re is no urgency.

Physicians are great but billing sucks. I have a co-pay not a deductible. Tried explaining to the desk my co pay was $r40 not their customary $135 fee. She insisted I pay the $135 beef waiting for a refund 6 months

Worst experience ever. after being told that it would take about 90 minuts to be seen by the Dr. it took 5 hours. Then, not even a Dr saw us, it was just a nurse practitioner. Was there a Dr. at the clinic? It seems that there is not a Dr on site in charge of the clinic. An x ray was taken, and after over 2 weeks trying to find out the results of the x rays, we were finally told that all the x rays were erased by a technician that was trying to solve a problem in the system. Why they did not tell me this the first time I called for the results? What if it would of been a life threatening issue?
I had to give them one star because the system won't allow to continue without choosing at least one. But It gets a Zero.

I visited this clinic at about 1pm yesterday. I waited for about 2.5 hours to see a practitioner. I was trying to be patient, especially since they make you pay when you arrive and not after you have been seen (basically entrapment). After my visit they were supposed to send some prescriptions to the nearby pharmacy. They still hadn't sent the scripts by 6:30pm. I called this morning at 8am to follow up and was told "oh! We will get them in now!" They still weren't in by 11:30am, so I called back. They said "oh! We will get them in now!" This time they finally did. I have spent so much extra time just trying to get simple medical attention... and I am still not feeling well. The practitioner said "we handle so many different types of services that we don't get to make it to the patients in good time." I do NOT recommend going to this clinic with any walk-in patient care needs, because they have more important things to do apparently.

NOT AN URGENT CARE CENTER!!! Brought my wife for a spider bite on left arm. When we arrived, she was told 45?minute wait. No problem! However, it was over 2 1/2 hours, wife asked how much longer. They told us 15 more minutes. Shortly afterwards, a doctor comes to the front and informs my wife she needs to go to an Emergency Room because they aren’t able to help with a spider bite. After 2 1/2 hours? This place is going to kill someone with this level of incompetence.

I had fine experiences here during Covid testing and for an employment screening, so when I started having some issues, I decided to return due to its convenient location. Well I regret it because it has been nothing but a nuisance since.

I showed up right at open on a Saturday and was promptly seen. The doctor prescribed me antibiotics. I called the pharmacy at lunch to see when they would be ready but they informed me 1st choice had called in the wrong thing and needed to contact the pharmacy to correct it. Well they closed at 12 and did not reopen until Monday. 2 full business days later and numerous phone calls to 1st choice by both Publix and myself (on hold for 45 min and counting as I write this) and still no corrected prescription. This is crazy and ridiculously unprofessional. Their error has led to me having to wait days in pain with an infection.

Edit: after over 1.5 hours on hold, at 10 min past their closing time, the phone call disconnected. If they weren’t going to have time to speak to me before closing they should’ve told me that at some point before 1.5 hours went by.

Scheduled appointment online and everything from there went smoothly. Great customer service and the Nurse practioner had very pleasant bedside manners. Facility was clean and quiet. Staff wore masks per covid precautions. They took care of my needs. I was there about an hour.
