I found myself in a hole that I did not see the hope that I would ever get out of the hole. Yesterday I made the biggest life saving decision to reach out to Here Tomorrow. I had a one on one session with Chris in the morning and decided to go to the group peer counseling later that evening. I can say just after a day that I found the hope that I was looking for. I’ve struggled with alcohol and substance abuse for a long time. Due to my past abusive relationships, childhood trauma and now dealing with the fact that I have become a full blown alcoholic that I never thought I’d ever become after the trauma I experienced from my ex. I felt as if I wasn’t worthy of anything in life. After meeting with other people who struggle daily like me, I now know that I am not alone. I am going to continue to speak with Chris and continue to show up to meetings. Here Tomorrow has given me the resources to get myself back. I’m excited to be on the journey to discover a different part of myself, being able to find a better way to coupe with my daily struggles. If you feel like you don’t have any options, I promise, you do with this amazing place.

I had a positive experience with Here Tomorrow. It was helpful to me during a very dark period in my life. When I moved to Jacksonville I had no one at first. But since then, I have built a great support system here. Highly recommend!

I took part in the QPR Suicide Prevention training and really benefited a lot from it. I’m grateful for a caring organization that took time to answer my and my team’s questions on such a difficult topic. They also helped a friend of mine going through a tough time. I am so impressed with the way I have been cared for. They kept in touch by emails, texts and phone calls. They were knowledgeable and friendly. They helped me overcome my reluctance to be social and to engage with others. I was struggling with isolation, bipolar depression and anxiety. I know that I have changed I have improved very much.
