Dr Medley is my primary care physician and he is hands down the best doctor I’ve ever dealt with. Listens to my concerns and does whatever is needed to get the best possible care for me and all of his patients (my late dad was a patient of his too and he took great care of Dad through some challenging health issues). I’ve also had the pleasure of dealing with Dr Wimberly and Dr Desai as well and both of them are absolutely amazing!

I have been coming to UF Health in jonesville for almost 5-6 years now.

I have had numerous problems coming here lately and here’s just a few problems I came across. Due to my allergies changing, I tried calling to make an appointment. I sat on hold for 30 mins for someone to finally answer the phone, with attitude. Only asking for my doctors, Dr. Medley, he wasn’t available. They sent me to numerous of places around Gainesville when I needed MY DOCTOR. I finally got seen by my doctor a week later to find out that there was nothing wrong with me. But I had headaches, watery eyes, stuffy nose.

About 2 months ago, I started to feel sick so I decided to take over the counter medicine to kick this cold out of me. I took everything possible, I finally got rid of it after 2 weeks. Then I realized that I had pressure where my glands are. I couldn’t understand what was going on. So I decided to take ibuprofen to take the pain and pressure away but nothing was working. I decided to make an appointment to see DR MEDLEY, but he was unavailable.. AGAIN so they scheduled me with Dr Angela. When I went in for my appointment, remind you, I’ve been going here for 5-6 years so they have all of my information on file. I had to FIX MY SSN, My work information, etc. WHY WOULD I HAVE TO FIX MY SSN?!? The receptionist was rude and very disrespectful to me. I got called back, I explained everything to the nurse ( she was sweet). Dr Angela came in and I felt like I was rushed to explain everything. She didn’t really seem to care what was going on with my health. She was VERY hesitant to feel my glands. Very hesitant to be a DOCTOR. I had to explain myself multiple times for her to understand and she told me that there was nothing wrong with me. She couldn’t prescribe me anything because she didn’t notice anything. No tests. I was annoyed that I had wasted my time and a $35 co-pay for nothing. The next morning I woke up with a swollen throat and I could barely breath. Another 2 weeks go by, and I still felt pressure and pain with my glands so I decided to make an appointment with my CHILDHOOD DOCTOR KIM, in High Springs. Come to find out I had STREP THROAT. I was prescribed Amoxicillin.

The fact that UF Health couldn’t do a test, or even figure out anything. DR ANGELA, YOU COULD HAVE PUT ME IN THE HOSPITAL. You will never see me again walk through those doors!!!!!!!!!!! The fact that I had to fight this on my own is outrageous.

For anyone who reads this, I recommend you to see Dr. Kim in High Springs off of 441. He is wonderful and your copay wouldn’t be much. You would be seen within the matter of mins and he will find out your problems!!

Dr. Medley is ok. But the practice makes it insane for me to refill oral birth control, a medication that should be over the counter. His nurses never get back to you promptly.

I have been seeing Dr. Gan as a primary physician for years now and I have never met a more uncaring, thoughtless and selfish physician. He had no concern in my well being and completely refused to let me get a single word in. I VERY strongly do not recommend this doctor to anyone
