I was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer in February and in October 2024 I had a Prostatectomy. As part of my rehab the Surgeon recommended pelvic floor therapy. I found it difficult to find a therapist in my area that specializes in Male Pelvic Floor Therapy. I did not want to travel to Orlando for this and I was happy when I reached out to Sanford Pelvic Floor Therapy and Wellness. Christine LaM'ee answered my phone call and put my anxiety at ease, telling me that she was trained in the treatment of Pelvic Floor Therapy for Men, best of all she was close to home. From my first appointment to my last she listened to my concerns, and suggested various therapy's tailored to my condition, keeping me focused on our goal. Along the way she offered words of encouragement as I worked to recover. At my 8 week post surgery Dr appointment, the Dr was very pleased with the progress of my recovery. I am so glad I made the call to Sanford Pelvic Floor and Wellness the progress I have made towards my recovery has helped me not only physically but mentally as well. The care and compassion Christine La'Mee showed me, and my wife during this difficult time was beyond my expectation. I still have a way to go, but the therapy plan Christine LaM'ee put in place has me on the fast track to recovery.
