Before I went to UCHealth University of Colorado. I went to another hospital twice, and they have not solved my problem. So,I went to the university's hospital and they did all the tests and they founded and solution to my health problem. The doctor was professional, and the nurses were professional, too. They all have the attributes to be great caregivers. Compression, empathy, and understanding of others. Except two. I am greatful.

Dear UCHealth Team,

I am writing to express my profound gratitude to the entire staff at UCHealth University of Colorado Hospital for the exceptional care I received during the birth of my child.

On November 21 at 5:00 PM, I underwent a Cesarean section on the 4th floor (Lift D). From the moment I arrived, the professionalism, warmth, and dedication of everyone I encountered made me feel safe and supported.

I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to the surgeons, anesthesiologists, pediatricians, nurses, medical assistants, and every member of the team who contributed to my care. The surgery was conducted flawlessly, and the post-operative care was excellent. I also deeply appreciate the thoughtful provision of interpreters, which ensured clear and effective communication throughout my stay.

A special thank-you to the social worker who assisted us in navigating and completing necessary documents and helped with arranging our medical insurance. Your patience and expertise made a world of difference during this important time, easing our concerns and ensuring that everything was in order.

Additionally, I am grateful for the timely blood tests, the administration of vaccines, and the personalized consultations that demonstrated the hospital’s unwavering commitment to patient-centered care. Every interaction—from medical professionals to administrative staff—exemplified kindness, empathy, and professionalism.

You turned what could have been a challenging time into a reassuring and joyful memory for me and my family. Thank you for your dedication to excellence and for going above and beyond to make patients feel valued and cared for.

I want to take a moment to thank you for the exceptional facilities and care provided during my stay. The rooms in your Nutri unit are designed with such thoughtfulness and comfort—they truly feel like an expensive hotel.

The spacious layout, modern amenities like Wi-Fi and TV, and spotless cleanliness of the shower and toilet made my experience incredibly comfortable. The provision of water, light, communication, and even gas—all seamlessly available—was remarkable. You’ve truly thought of every detail to ensure patient comfort.

This level of care and attention to detail reflects UCHealth’s commitment to excellence. Thank you for creating an environment that feels welcoming and luxurious, even during medical care.

Warm regards,
Zalina

Surgents were great, however the bill I received was outrageous for the services.
I asked them to provide the CMS fee schedule but they refused. I looked up the fair price and they charged 3 times more. They responded back once a week and ignored my requests to appeal. They called me to schedule me on other services ironically tho. They sent me to collections and refused to adjust the bill to a fair price while my appeal was still in process. Never using them again And will make sure to let every friend and co-worker know about this poor experience with their billing team.

My dad was flown out here to this hospital. We have been here for seven days and the staff has been so supportive and nice. They amazing surgical team has also been very supportive. They have allowed me to listen in when the doctors come around to discuss my dads status. If I have questions they are very informative in explaining. We are truly blessed to have the best team taking care of my dad.

This hospital is an absolute circus. Whether I had a gunshot wound or a broken toe I would never go here or advise anyone to go here. I’ve seen doctors and residents grossly mistreat my wife. They lie in the case notes to save themselves. Unfortunately since they are a learning hospital you can’t sue for malpractice. No need to name names but these medical “professionals” are anything but that. 0 stars if google would allow it.

The oncology department of this hospital is exceptional. The staff, doctors and teams are amazing and dedicated. I am visiting family and this is one of the nicest hospitals I’ve ever seen. Everything is updated, current and well designed. Free parking as well !

Went in about a cyst on my wrist. Doctor told me I needed surgery. I asked him how long was my recovery going to be? Then he said you can go back next day to work. I don't think that was a professional answer because they gave me narcotics for pain and expect me to go back to work next day. Very upsetting.

Get great care - but do no expect any compassion when it comes to owing them money. I just received a summons to appear in court as I am being sued for medical bills I incurred 2 years ago that I was never aware of. I called the attorneys office listed on the summons to see if I could negotiate a settlement, as I do not have the $1200.00 +. When I called I didn’t reach a law firm - I reached a collection agency. I spoke to a representative there who misled/lied to me stating that if I did not pay the balance the court would report me to the collection agencies. When I offered to pay $750.00 of the outstanding balance she refused to even present the offer to anyone above her stating that that the hospital/clinic I was treated at would not accept anything less than 80% of the bill. This is $940.00. When I explained that I have not worked in 7 months, and had no way to pay it, I received no compassion, or understanding, with that I was charged $304.20 per visit at their outpatient psychiatric department. My insurance company only allows $150.00 per visit. I was charged the exact same dollar amount for each visit, these visits for medication review and refills only. Not therapy. I spent 15 to 20 minutes at the most speaking with a student doctor with 10 minutes for chart documentation, this is $600.00 per hour for their time. With the hospital already having to pay CMS (Centers for Medicare and Medicaid) a huge multi million dollar settlement for fraudulent billing practices doing exactly what was done to me (charging for the highest level of service) when it was not the level of care provided, they would not do pull the same tactics with self pay patients or patients with commercial payers. To be fair I did contact the billing department to speak with someone but their computer systems were down. I will reach out to them again tomorrow
