I can't say enough good things about this business and Dean. I walked in to the store after being disappointed in two other places. Dean was very helpful and he had the two items in stock that I needed, a hospital bed and a lift chair for my mother. Not only that he delivered them the very next morning before his vacation. This is the first negative review I have written. I had a complex surgery on my foot that required 4 different procedures and
required me to be off my foot for 6 months. I went to Discount Medical Supply and they were very helpful in recommending the equipment I would need. I purchased the equipment one week before my surgery. The week after surgery was tough and conducting business was not on my mind. I called the next week and the store closed the week between Christmas and New Years. I called the next week they were open.

I wanted to return the walker because I discovered I didn’t need it and never used it. I was told that there is no return for cash after 3 days. It is on the receipt but I had not noticed it. I was offered a credit which I will not use in the foreseeable future.

I’ve always supported small local businesses but in this case it backfired. If I had ordered through Amazon, the equipment was cheaper and their return policy is more reasonable.

We couldn’t have been happier. The owner was helpful, courteous, understanding. He helped us select the perfect model wheelchair for our needs. He spent lots of time choosing appropriate accessories, looking up specs on the computer, and in general making the experience very pleasant. We need more merchants like this! The equipment stocked is of highest quality at very good prices.

My mother-in-law has been going to rehabs and we need information on supplies. We stopped at Discount Medical Supply. Dean was awesome. He is so knowledgeable. This is all new to us but Dean explained in depth about our choices. Example...rent vs. buy.

We needed to get a wheelchair and shower chair. He explained the differences and what would work the best for what we needed (size, weight, height etc.). I needed these ASAP and he had everything in stock. We also needed a retractable tray table that will roll under the bed. I called him because I didn’t know how the height would work. He assured me it would be fine and it was.

We have had questions we would stop by or call him and he is always helpful. We like the fact that it’s family owned too. We will definitely buy all that we need to help my husband’s mom get better and/or feel better. Thank you Dean and family for making this process so easy. 🥰

I went in while in Sarasota visiting my mom because she needed a random small part for her electric wheelchair. The owner was super nice, just happened to find the part I needed laying around and didn't charge me for it. He then proceeded to give me great advice on how to change her wheelchair batteries by myself, which saved us a lot of money and hassle. I would definitely go back with any furture needs.

What a terrific and easy experience this was. Dean was amazingly accommodating to a very tight schedule. Bed was delivered on time and set up in less than 20 minutes.
And best of all? Dad absolutely LOVES the bed.
