Highly recommend Dr. Gross. He has been the best find we've found in Florida! For instant care, we can get in the same day we call. He knows each of our family members by name and takes his time with us at each visit. Very knowledgeable, personable, and thorough. He's great with our kids! We also like how Epiphany has contracts set up with other medical vendors (such x-rays, bloodwork, specialists) at discount rates. They set up the appointments and handle most payments with contracted services. The staff is great! On a side note, on few occasions when Dr. Gross was out of town, we have gone to the PA and have not been as impressed with her.

I tried this group out due to out of network with insurance. Since then the physicians assistant has been my caregiver. Did not meet a Dr at all. She first off wouldnt give me my blood thinners when i have a blood clot from my ankle in my left leg from my ankle all the way to my left lung. Then she called me and argued with me before finally giving me a script for my blood thinners 3 weeks after she told me to just take aspirin. And i called 2 weeks ago to find out when we were doing a follow up on the blood clot.(ultra sound). And still havent heard back. When i called the office they told me that the actual Dr are not accepting new patients and that i should cancel my contract.. so that is what ive done. Save your money and find somewhere were they actually care about the patient. A very unprofessional PA by the name of Candis Nicolls. Beware.

Let me start by saying that the doctor we initially had was outstanding. However, the issue we had was with the lady Physician Assistant (PA) whose behavior was so rude that we eventually left and never returned. In brief, if your doctor isn’t available and/or your medical issues can be handled by the PA, you may get assigned to her as we did. My elderly (insured, and non-native English speaking) mother asked me to find a local medical office during a time when some of her even more elderly siblings and parents were having some health issues and this is who she ended up with and that also ended up seeing.

Sadly, over the course of her visits, my mother had both a parent pass on as well as a sibling, causing her each time to become worried about her own health and go to the office. The PA however, somehow either didn’t understand or just didn’t care that an 80+ year old woman would occasionally not take her medicine when traveling out of state to deal with family issues or not arrange for refills to be shipped to her out of state. Then, frightened by the passing of a family member, she wanted to be seen by a doctor and for her medication to be refilled. And so, on her last visit, the PA, who instead of allowing us to explain why this was occurring, decided to belittle and insult my mother, and then harangue us over some trivial co-pay bill. She further insulted her intelligence and threatened to “drop” my mother, saying that she’d have difficulty finding any office with most not accepting new patients.

Every attempt to explain was arrogantly “over-talked” by the PA, who kept haranguing and interrupting with her idiotic pre-occupation about the $5 or so co-pay and making her threats. Needless to say, it’s difficult to speak to someone who doesn’t listen, and damned insulting to have to bite your lip over a family member’s passing - placing it second to the insults of a PA who should have kept her mouth closed and her ears open in order to understand what the patient was saying.

I can't say enough about these Doctors. In my experience, they are not pill pushers, but take the time to talk to you and discuss alternatives to quick-fix pills for everything. I had high A1C, and he explained that it could be controlled and reduced with diet changes and exercise. So, instead of instantly writing a script for this, we discussed my poor diet, and he incentivized me to make changes to keep me healthy, naturally. Love these guys!
