I need more stars for Dr. Roberts. He has picked the right profession. He is an asset to patient care. We came to Florida in 2020 and healthcare was a major problem. My husband has some major medical issues and finding quality care was concerning. I worked in the medical field my whole life. I am picky about doctors and care. However, I am very happy to have found Dr. Roberts for myself and my husband. He is an intuitive kind-hearted provider with an insightful perceptive skill set.

I have been seeing Dr. Roberts and his staff (Jeremy) going on 8 years. He has been the best doctor for me. I have a disorder that is pretty rare and this team has helped me navigate all the issues included. Not to mention, they caught my cancer before anyone else could, and I had seen two doctors beforehand. They have treated me with the upmost respect and I would recommend Dr. Roberts and his team to anyone. You may sit in the office for a while from time to time, but that’s because they take time with their patients to truly help them. I am happy to have found a medical team as caring as this one.

I love the receptionist. (I'm sorry I haven't learned your name) She is very helpful and the sweetest human. As I sat waiting for my appointment, she answered questions from phone calls with such grace and compassion, and if she didn't know the answer, she researched and called back with the information. Plus, she was/is very helpful in helping her co-workers be successful and appreciated.

Plus Dr. Stekler (sp?) Always listens and if he is in a rush it never comes across that way. He takes his time to listen and then make a plan with you that you can be successful in following.

I am Patients Advocacy Form. We have reached out to this doctor several times, but we have never received a positive response from their side. I recommend to those who are considering them not to waste their time with this provider and their staff. Thank you.

Dr. Roberts is amazing, unfortunately his staff does not follow through. I have not been able to get a face to face appointment with him in at least 6 months. I've been trying to get my nebulizer meds for at least 6 months. The office staff does not respond to refill requests from pharmacy. I'm supposed to be on Chronic Care Management program through Medicare which means nurse is supposed to call once a month for updates. No phone call in three months until I told Dr. Roberts on tele-med call that it was not happening. He obviously does not know what is going on with his staff. There is a very high turnover so something is amiss. I'm sad and frustrated.

I have been going to this office for the past two years. They never miss a chance for some way to bill me weather it be a checkup or having to be seen multiple times for the same things. The office staff is good and the visits are usually pretty quick.

It all falls apart when it comes time to get prescriptions filled. One of my prescriptions requires authorization from the doctor for my insurance to fill it. This wouldn’t be a huge issue, but what I take is an auto injection once a month. Supposed to be same day every month, if I miss one month it takes longer for the effects to be felt and this leads to problems. I have been prescribed this for a over a year and every time the authorization is needed I get a message from Walgreens stating that they haven’t got the authorization from my doctor so insurance will process it.

I now have to call and hope I get ahold of a person, can’t leave a message because the mailbox is always full. Then I tell them what I need and they say we’ll take care of it. Next week let’s do it all over again, call, tell them what I need, they say ok. Maybe it will happen, maybe it won’t.

At this point I am 2 weeks past my injection date. I have already went for my checkup, a month ahead of time, and they have been payed. Guess when I leave that office I’m all on my own again.

Pros… Good people, quick service, seem to be able to get you in when you need.

Cons… getting anything done after you leave that office.

This place sent my father a bill that Medicaid payed.. Two year's after he stopped going here. 1 1/2 year's AFTER he died. I sent his death certificate and they sent me a letter wanting shipping money for the return of his death certificate. I let them keep it. You have waited to see him up to 3 hr. The "nurse" named Pat ,that checks you in. Is racest against black and Chinese, saying they were dirty. Surprised that she sead this to us outloud. Which I found inappropriate. Dr. Roberts has God complex. Daddy had an appointment after being in the hospital for 5 day's for a fallow up. When he showed up he was presented with a bill for $167 which the staff sead Medicaid did pay. He was told that he was sent the bill for it in the mail. Which he didn't get. Hmmmm So was denied to see the doctor. My father was paid up on everything. I know this as fact because I was with him 3 visit before and stood there as he paid them.
The visit before this last one. He had an 11am appointment ,which was logged on his phone. When he arrived . They tried to tell him he couldn't see the doctor because his appointment was 10:30. My father told the staff they were mistaken and showed proof.
The office manager is the worst manager we've ever dealt with. When you ask her anything ,she gets upset and act's like she is doing YOU a favor. Instead of her job. This staff can't even keep track of your allergies. When I was going here. I was given twice an antibiotic I'm allergic to. I can even prove this with my pharmacy records. Dr. Roberts dismissed my Daddy's depression when he told him that he felt he was just sitting around waiting to die. Dr. Robert's told him we all are sitting in around waiting to die. Daddy's depression got worse. Why in the heck would you tell an 80yr old man that !!
I know that as a fact because Daddy lived with me and I help him care for himself. Because of Dr. Roberts terrible office staff. That changes from week to week. BEFORE the Covid hit. I can't imagine now. Dr. Robert's has lost ALOT of paying people and his review rate has dropped from a 5 to a 3.6. Word is getting AROUND. It can break a business just as much as make a business.
When you do get an appointment. You sit in the lobby for a couple of hours. Then they call you back to sit in a tiny room for another half hour. Like anyone has time like that to spend sitting in a Dr office. I would not recommend this office
This office sent me a bill for my Dad two year's after he died . A bill he did not owe. My Dad had a unknown bleeder inside his body . Dr. Robert's never sent him to find out from where he was bleeding and just gave him transfusions after transfusion. Until he bled inside to death 2020. He never earned being treated like this by
,staff or doctor..
