This practice meets my needs and expectations for comprehensive primary care. Dr. Lauren Broadway is compassionate, thorough, and up-to-date on medical science. Rachel Franzen is the same, and my brief experiences with Dr. Christopher Walsh have been good as well. I appreciate the telehealth options and message portal, since not everything requires an in-person visit. I trust their referrals when I need to see a specialist. I recommend AdvocateMD.

I’ve been going to Advocate MD 3-4 years now. I discovered this office when the PA Rachel Franzen I had seen elsewhere moved to this office. She recently left and I chose to see Dr Chris Walsh. The doctors were great! Listened, spent time understanding etc. What I don’t care for is, is the actual office. Very much seems to be money motivated. I’m a young healthy female that only comes for physical, which is a covered visit through insurance. For some reason this office ALWAYS wants to collect money, claiming they read the lab orders, therefore more than just a physical.. what ever happens to having a physical then the doctor/nurse calling you with the results after received? Due to this, I decided to go for my physical and wait to have my labs done after. I work for the company I get my lab work done so I can just review my own lab work and if I have questions, I will call my doctor. I’m not on any medications so really, no need for a follow up. I kept getting reminder calls that I needed to schedule after being seen for my physical. I called and they said it’s to review my lab work and I will continue to get them until I make the appointment. The lady I spoke with was honestly not the most friendly and I feel she did not like that I told her, there is no need to come in just for him to tell me if everything is good. If it’s not; then I can understand that. Which my apt isn’t even until next week to have them done- due to the hurricanes. That’s a waste of time to just come in to review the lab work (they said it could be a call but I would need to schedule it.. aka telehealth) which I’m sure they push for so they can collect more money. I work in healthcare so I see how shameful the medical industry is becoming and how it seems to be more profit over patients and I just feel it is not right for this office to always try to collect money for a physical (when that’s really all I ever come for)that is supposed to be covered by insurance.. seems like they are trying to take advantage of the patients. It really is a shame when you like the doctors but feel the office could be better.

THE WORST DOCTOR! Lauren Broadway is RUDEST doctor i have ever experienced. After 2 visits she fired me as a patient. No interest in listening or caring at all. I moved from NY, I had great doctors from Columbia NYC, who took things seriously. She should not be practicing if she can not uphold respect.

Rachel Franzen has been a blessing for my family. EVERYONE is so nice and helpful in this office, very responsive to phone calls and questions. Rachel has been such a help for me, she is very patient and listens to everything I have to say. She has helped me tremendously gain control of my health. I recommend this practice to any, and every person that asks.

I've been seeing Rachel Martinez-Franzen for well over a year now. For the first time in my life, I'm excited to see my doctor! She is one of the most caring and compassionate people I've ever met. Her bedside manner is unparalleled and she listens so carefully to what her patient's needs and concerns are. I wouldn't trust anyone else to partner with me for my healthcare!

BAD EXPERIENCE AT ADVOCATE M.D
Lauren Broadway is an uncompassionate doctor that I found to value her time more than my time or care. After two bad experiences with her I asked to be a patient to another doctor at the practice. The response to my request was that I was fired as a patient and not to return to her business. What happened to the family doctor that took an interest in your time and wellness

Rachel Martinez-Franzen is the most caring, and compassionate medical professional that I have ever come in contact with. She is honest, and takes her time with you to really make sure you receive the care that you need. I have been seeing her for over a year now and I won't go anywhere else. Whether it's for a cough or abdominal pain that resulted in appendix removal, Rachel is your go to for sound medical advice.

I have been a patient here for several years. I “thought” I had a great, honest relationship with Rachel Franzen as she would often hug me at my visits. I’ve had a lot happen in the past few years resulted from a horrific car accident- 2 big back fusions, chronic pain etc. I’ve been a successful professional all my life and an athlete. This has brought me to a low place during this time. I literally just had a tele health visit a few weeks and she said “ok, see you for your annual in June”
I get a paper in the mail a week after saying she will no longer be a Dr to me!!!!
No explanation!! Nothing. Zero
Really?
I’m very upset and mostly disappointed 😔 Who does this?
