My son went to Dr. Simmers a few days before Christmas because we were seeing my 82 year old father. Dr. Simmers only test for strep. He did not test my son for the flu, which my husband went to his doctor and tested positive for flu. I would rather go to a back ally doctor in Tijuana then ever see Dr. Simmers again. I have called the office and please begged them to put a note on our file. That we never want to be seen by him again.

My children have seen Dr Simmers for the last 6.5 years. He is very thorough with his appointments, has called us to follow up and check in, and just really shows he cares. I appreciate his bedside manner and the way he shares information. We would give 10 stars if possible!

Dr. Simmers has been my son's pediatrician since birth. At that time I alternated between him and another amazing doctor who eventually left the practice. I have seen other pediatricians since, not by choice, and I am never satisfied. I trust Dr. Simmers. He cares about my son, has always acted in his best interest and sincerely respects him. He is always willing to answer my onslaught of questions with patience and thoughtful answers. He advocates for us and has been there when I really needed him. I won't trust my son's health with anyone else. I am forever grateful to find such competency in a small town. Dr. Simmers ROCKS!!!!!

Dr. Simmers made me extremely uncomfortable when I took my son for a check-up. I just got off the phone with Tricare to switch my son's PCM. He didn't take my concerns seriously and he was TOO touchy-feely with my son and constantly kept saying, "You're so handsome.", and "You're so cute.", to my son. I understand he is cute he gets that compliment a lot, but this felt uncomfortable as well as inappropriate. Saying it twice is borderline too much and I don't know how many times he said things like that accompanied by rubbing his shoulders, back, and legs for too long. I could have read it all wrong, but mamas know when something doesn't feel right! So, if you're a mama and are questioning your feelings, don't. I talked to several women who told me they feel uncomfortable with him. Not all the same reasons as mine, but still. Some women have told me that the advice he gave them was dangerous for their children and couldn't believe that he would give the advice he did. I apologize for this, but I feel it's better to say something when something doesn't feel right.

Dr simmers has been extremely helpful in getting my child vaccinated and ready for the school year. Things seem to get a little busy and disorganized on the front end, but Dr. Simmers was a good physician and was very good with the children. Thank you 🙂

Dr Simmers is a terrible doctor. If I could give negative stars I would. Do not take your children to this man. He is not a good pediatrician!

I would NOT recommend this doctor. I refuse to go to White Wilson at all now because I dont want to risk getting him as her doctor EVER again.
