I called the office asking how to get in touch with Dr. Sofia. After awhile I got a call from Dr. Sofia, telling me the secretary told me you wanted to get in touch with me. How can I help you? We talked and she gave me her phone number with the extension to her voice mail. Few days ago I called the office asking how I can communicate by email with Dr. Sofia? The secretary Nilena Bates, told me, I will give you my email and you when you send email to Dr. Sofia, I will forward it to her. I told her I have difficulties hearing the email address, she sent me her address so I can reply to her. Later on, she emailed me that she uploaded the information I sent her, to the account. Dr Evancho is one of the few good doctors left around here. He really follows up after your blood work is done to see how you are doing, and if results are not as good as they should be his nurse will contact you to repeat the test. Trust me Dr Evancho will not live you alone until he finds out what the problem is and how to fix it. He will never rush you when talking to him.The ladies at the front desk and the nurses are very friendly and helpfull. I feel very lucky!!

My first experience with this office was saved by Veronica, this lady is a must have. A lady by the name of Micky initially answered the phone and said if I just registered them as my new pcp then I am not in the system yet and to call back tomorrow. When I asked her to please check for me she got an attitude and put me on eternal hold. I hung up after I could tell their system was ringing me back and she kept putting me back on hold. Now I am a new patient and all I wanted was an appointment. I called back only to get Micky again and her tell me that Im not in system and I asked for her name and her managers name. She yelled at me and told me she is the office manager so Im only going to get to talk to her. I told here that was no way to treat anyone and this behavior was horrible. She told me to get a different pcp and hung the phone in my face. Well, I am nothing if not thorough. I decided to called back my insurance provider and thats when I learned that in deed they did update the information. I had to 3way call just to get this doctors office to acknowledge that I was in the system. Micky didnt want to talk to me anymore after she treated me so nasty so I end up talking to this lady named Veronica who was professional, empathetic to my situation and was efficient at de-escalating a situation and scheduling an appointment. I am interested to know why the doctors at this facility would employ someone like Micky at all. LIsten people if you plan to go here AVOID MICKY BORDON AT ALL COSTS.

He also treats my 85 year old mother.
I like his staff, always friendly, answers my questions.

I have had my 2nd horrible experience dealing with this office. The first bad experience is when I caught an infection. They told me to come in but I had to wait 2 hours before I was seen. The other experience is trying to get a simple prescription refill in which I had to take a day off of work to be again wait to be seen just to have it filled.

This office staff is horrible. They are extremely rude and very sketchy. When asked for medical records of my disabled brother, they hung up on me. This leads me to believe something is very shady going on here. BEWARE!

Dr Evancho has been my son's doctor for over 15 years although it takes awhile to get there but I will not take my son anywhere else also the staff is awesome kind and caring....Alphonso's Mom

Had knee replacement done. Never met him yet. Met his asst. The first 22 hr no pain meds. Pain has been present the whole time. But imI no trained to, so he may be doing me a favor.
