It is absolutely unacceptable that a patient cannot trust the information given during a medical consultation regarding insurance coverage. I was assured—both over the phone and in person—that this office accepted my insurance for a general check-up. Yet, months later, I am being billed for the full amount because my insurance denied the claim, stating that the provider is out of network. Who takes responsibility for this? No one. These kinds of institutional practices have turned healthcare not just into a business, but into the worst kind of business, one that operates under the assumption that lying to clients is acceptable.

I went there on 1/15/2025 8AM to get urgent care for my wife (we arrived from California the night before). She had a lot of pain in her left shoulder/arm. The lady at the admission on the 18th floor told us they were not urgent care anymore, but after a short talk with a coworker they register us although we were not in their system (maybe they saw my wife in such a pain). Soon after Gail Ukatu, MD visited my wife. The doctor was extremely kind and immediately find the reason of the pain (pinched nerve). She gave a injection, a prescription and requested X-ray. Everything was done in very short time. They also gave us the X-ray CD to bring to our doctor in California. We were very impressed by the MD fast action and all the staff that helped us. Thank you for taking care of my wife

Its so nice to have a doctor that doesn't make you feel like just another number. The compassion from my doctor just made me want to hug her. Her caring tone is going to help me get rid of my diabetes.

One of the worst utterly disorganized office. Despite sending message thru the portal, calling and lodging a complaint, the spl who i saw, Dr C Fitzpatrick ( or the office ) never reached out to me to discuss the multiple tests ordered by the physician. It has been more than 3-4 weeks the test results are in the chart.
This is sheer medical negligence

I have received two bills for the same visit one from labcorp and one from the office. I cant seem to call the physicians office directly. I went through 4 different lines which rerouted me to the same billing department that says they’re not the ones to speak to.

I have decided to send an email directly to the doctor on mychart.
This has been extremely frustrating.

I’m hoping by leaving this review someone is able to contact me to help me. Otherwise I will be forced to go in person to try and resolve their issues.

I also want to note, the doctors at this location are great and have nothing to do with this review. I havent had issues until now.

I hate to leave such a harsh review, but after being a patient at other MS locations I have to say the front office staff and phone teams are incredibly rude and dismissive.
Even though I have to travel to the city, I will opt for the Union Square or Main Hospital locations for my radiology needs.
As for the specialist and primary care offices, those are very solid. This review of primary for the radiology department

Incredibly disorganized. So difficult to make an appointment, was taken on a journey of transferring between 5 different phone lines just to get my ultrasound scheduled.

The front desk is a mess. They insisted I pay a $400 copay until the nurse came out and said that it wasn’t necessary since I wasn’t getting a procedure done. I tried to say the same thing for the past 20 minutes but they didn’t believe me.

don’t make an appointment in the afternoon (maybe at all?). They told me they were 30 minutes behind when I arrived. Waited 45 minutes beyond my appointment time and left without being seen.
